I don't know this family - I didn't know Rick or Bethe - but for some reason - call it divine intervention - this video came across my feed today. I'm a mom of 5 married kids and gma to 16 littles in Seattle. Since my mom and gma passed away from covid in 2021, I've been in a slump. I can't explain it - I just have been down. They knew Lord and are with Him today - I will see them again in glory. There is so much to live for and I have a beautiful life. But I need to step out of this slump and get back on track spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally - I need to get back on top.
I watched this service and sit here in tears as I write this. I'm inspired by the lives of these two. I did some research on them, and heard/read about their accomplishments, and especially about the joy and exuberance Bethe lived her life with. This has me thinking about my own legacy and what I want to be remembered by. Thank you for whoever shared this with us. Thank you to their kids for having the courage to speak that day. And praise the Lord for His ALWAYS perfect timing.
Prayers for you that God brings you out of your darkness. I pray your heart feels happiness again and the Lord's blessings shine upon you. Amen 🙏

This came across my phone, I don’t know this couple, but what a beautiful legacy they left their adult children. The love they had not only for their children but also for their Lord and teaching them about God’s never ending love and forgiveness!!
A v beautiful touching memorial service .A truly staunch family ,deep faith in Jesus Christ scriptures . I admire this family ,not knowing them but I hv learnt a lot from watching ,they r all rooted in Jesus . Hv noted the scripture verses ,which r so consoling .God bless this anointed family always .RIP dear Rick n Bethe in heaven with all His angels n saints .

This came across my news feed and I’m absolutely saddened and a little floored too. I went to school with both of them. I graduated from NHS in 1984. I always remember Bethe as this bubbly, fun, happy go lucky girl. Petite and loved being a cheerleader. Rick, I just remember him being a jokester. We have some similarities, in 2014 my husband and I were on our way to Georgia for a wedding, he was the best man in. In Tennessee we were T-boned and sadly my husband passed. I moved to ST. Pete in 2015. About ten minutes from that airport. I sold my house there a couple years later and moved to Lakewood Ranch Florida and Still reside there, which is 30 minutes north of Venice. Very small world. My thoughts go out to all of you. ❤
Wow, this just popped up in my feed as well, but I live in a little pacific nation called Aotearoa (New Zealand). Your comment just intrigued me, the fact you not only know them but went to school with both, it is indeed a small world, and so sorry that your husband died. I am so very sorry. This came up in my feed somehow. I know that God is still faithful and even in this, HE is showing his love and compassion. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. Many blessings to the family and friends coupled with my deepest sorrow.
What accomplished people. So sorry about plane crash. I need to say after listening to service God wanted u both together in eternity at this time. Many people wouldn't understand how someone could say this but when you have faith it is a promise I lean on in my own life. They are home w their maker. God bless you family n friends especially to have known these 2 wonderful people. Amen.

What a beautiful and articulate tribute by Bethe and Rick's children. A true testament to the parents who loved and nurtured them. I know they will go on to continue Bethe and Rick's legacy of love and light and they will get through with the knowledge they will all be together again.

Wow! I am a born & breed Hoosier too. They were a few years younger than me. However lived near my area. I didn’t know them. I wish…that I had. What amazing couple and lives. Grateful they lived lives of purpose & meaning. It’s what we are here to do.
