Fantastic to see you fishing for those in the wild. I have seen them here in the US in aquariums over the years listed as Jardini or Australian arrowana.
great to see you fishing the fresh! never gone for togas or caught one but definitely got me more interested in them! hope all is well with you, love the films mate! always a great time loading up RUclips and seeing a beautiful Briggsy thumbnail! keep em coming mate we all love them!!!
What an awesome video briggsy! Mate, your videos just keep getting better! As a freshwater fisherman myself, bloody brilliant to see you do this video! Keep it up mate, awesome!
Hahahaha bro! This was hectic to watch! Also because of the similarity of session I had with a different type of fish but you will see in a vid coming soon and laugh! I think we were in different parts of the world doing the same things probably simulating each other hahaha yewwwww
I remember an old fella who fished for these for years tell us to use heavier gear with heavier drag and really set the hooks on them to penetrate their hard mouths, great vid mate
Awesome video! Loved the water release. I thought tarpon were frustrating to catch, but these things look next level. Still keen to tick one off my bucket list.
epic as! cool to see u show something different but boy u guys worked so hard for those! those saratoga look so sick as plus those top water strikes. always amazes me how epic the topwater strike is but somehow they always miss so badly.... got chased by any crazy bull on the way to your spot? haha
That toga looks like an awesome fish, bro! We have northern snakehead and they strike and fight alot alike. The colors on the toga put me in the mindset of an Arapaima.
I am for sure buying a few of those Malosi Echos once released (if I can get them imported). I reckon the bass and sunfish here in the States would chew them up!
For anyone asking. 99.9999% sure this is borumba. Grew up here for 25 years 😂 absolutely wicked spot. Small 45-65mm dark colours walk baits early early morning, cloudier the better. Absolutely slay. Smallest bit of timber structure near the surface is golden. Love it Briggsy. Big bass out there too and the yabba is pumping right now. Fish on 🐟
Hi Mate, next four films are an Island trip I went on last month, gotta edit them but yeah I'm keen to do some estuary stuff just might be a little while before there's a film of it
cheers briggsy! - what more budget $300~ reel would you suggest instead of your 4k saltiga - really looking to replace my 20lb setup and love the feel of yours
Was this in Borumba dam? What lures do you recommend for saratoga? I live in south east queensland and I would love to start trying for them! (Great video, keep up with the content!)
I love the vids and I hope you keep the hard work and can i have a shout if you can stay focus and also you have inspired me using lures more thank you bye also nice fish
All the years I’ve been watching you I can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen you fresh water fishing!
It's hard to get the algo interested in fresh water films but I love it! Feels almost like hunting when you're stalking fish from the bank like that.
fresh water has a different level of meditation to saltwater its normally much more serene lol
every time Briggsy uploads, it feels like Christmas all over again

Toga time!!! Been looking forward to your next vid Briggs
Ozzy Tarpon, awesome fish!
Awesome - well done on the capure, and release. A lot of work for one fish - but it paid off!
Man how good of a fisherman is CJ I cannot wait to go for a fish with him one day chasing toga
CJ the toga slayer!

Briggsy your my favourite RUclipsr❤

In America we call them arowana's, those fish are very expensive pricing up to $1,000 to even $10,000. I wish I'd catch one in the wild...
First time watching awesome fishing 🎣
Ha! Was watching and waiting for you to sink into the mud. The last time I fished that spot I nearly got stuck.
Greetings from Baku Azerbaijan, great fishing 👍✊🐟🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟
I am for sure buying a few of those Malosi Echos once released (if I can get them imported). I reckon the bass and sunfish here in the States would chew them up!
Awesome, love to catch a toga!

Big bass out there too and the yabba is pumping right now.
Fish on 🐟
How do you like the new black range? I love my scratchy 👍
yeah it's a nice little stick, I've had a bunch of different models over the years and they're good rods!
@@Briggsy sure is mate
you should totally fish for some more of those!
Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
great fish would try lake somer set there are a few big dogs there
Good stuff briggsy! hinze dam?
Dyin to see those micro Malosis come out! Is that an area that has the crocs? Cheers man!
Hey bro just a quick tip on how to not lose the togers just as they're out about to jump put your rod tip down
you should def try out the nomad squidtrexs down in rivers where you'd never expect them to work. They producee
Boy those togas are so skiddish aye
They can see you from a mile away!
@@Briggsy I tried a couple weeks ago and I saw one like 30 metres away from me and as soon as I got up to cast he scrambled
They are different looking these fish.
How's the mud? You sunk all the way up to your gooch.
If this is where i think it may be, I got two toga on fly in the same area last week
are you planning on making some more estuary content soon
Hi Mate, next four films are an Island trip I went on last month, gotta edit them but yeah I'm keen to do some estuary stuff just might be a little while before there's a film of it
Bro is that at hinze dam .. think I recognise a few spots
Epic video
cheers briggsy! - what more budget $300~ reel would you suggest instead of your 4k saltiga - really looking to replace my 20lb setup and love the feel of yours
Maybe get a Stradic
That's a beautiful arowana.
In Holland, if there is just one treestump in the water (and there arent) even if its 50 meters away, it would still snag the fish...
Imagine being stuck in that mud and watching a salty comin straight at ya
You should have a look at hogie the bair foot fisherman he did 2 videos fishing were I fish in moura and it is worth having a look
Great vid anyone got a clue where this is or where I could go to catch one
need more toga vids!
Epic vid Briggs dog
😀😀
What was that rod that guy was using
is the lure a slippery dog
Nice one bro

What dam yous fishing?
