Thank you so much for posting this. I recently discovered them on Spotify while listening to another band and instantly fell in love with their sound and Molly's voice. I was hoping to see them at Outside Lands in San Francisco a few weekends ago but had to go into work. Can't wait til they come back and tour on their own. I need to hear the opening guitar lick of atop a cake live. Soon. Very soon. I hope. Cheers!
Dear ALVVAYS, I have a poster of one of your designs I love. A significant song like "next of kin" that I didn't hear till later years after the release remix DS me of a time. A time that I now lost. I try not to cry about it but it reminds me of a time. I don't want to cram up everything in this comment box so I'll just say that you guys mean alot toe in my life.
I love alvvays but vocalist in front of drummer - should have one or the other to the side, the backup sm57 is just getting smashed too by proximity due to vocal distance needing to be right on top of it at that proximity to other noise sources, to dominate the snr Main vocalist did amazing given the stage setup. sm57 on max gain has very poor gain at even a foot for normal backing vocal levels
