Molly’s voice is so pure, even in the live setting - something, sadly, most artists today don’t have. I guess her musical genes really did come through!!! Been crushin’ on Kerri for years now.
@@sting0072007Her dad is the late John Morris Rankin of The Rankin Family. They were two brothers and three sisters that played Celtic folk music and apparently were pretty big in Canada. Molly’s uncle Jimmy Rankin, who played guitar in the family band, is now a songwriter in Nashville. Going by the Bubbles comment, you’re probably talking about the keyboard player. That’s Kerri MacLellan.
New drummer is a perfect fit. The previous drummer was great, but a band is a bit like a football team, you've got to get a good fit and never mind the talent.
I can't say if they are completely "Full", but there are several concerts that are much longer than this concert here :) But the sound and image quality is not that good, though.
@@stevenluna3756 Yeah the tame Impala dude produced for Pond. Unsurprising seeing how one of Pond still playing in tame. They're all friends, there videos of Kevin playing drums in Pond for the Frond albums
I love both but I dont particularly think the last couple of beach house albums have been on par with their previous work , however, Alvvays just released blue rev and it almost rivals antisocialites.
@@tylerphillips6523I found "Blue Rev" good, but a bit more abstract and less catchy than "Antisocialites" (That one blew my mind). As for Beach House - I'm talking about my taste in music - I think that they peaked at "Bloom" (Lazuri, Myth, Irene - those are masterpieces). Followed by "Depression Cherry" and "Thank Your Lucky Stars". I don't care much for "7" or "Once Twice Melody".
@@nelson2k I agree about Blue Rev being more abstract but I have to disagree about Beach House, i think of Teen Dream as their peak point. Everything changed after that, they blew up and never came back to my town lol.
@@jaceper it’s a fair question seeing as it’s been 4 years since and they’ve been on radio silence since covid. It’s likely they are in fact making one right now.
This is a perfect live mix. 'Forget About Life' sounds amazing

7:26 Forget About Life
so obsessed with their drummer..
She's fantastic!
YES!
Right?! Great backing vox, too.
I agree just so perfect and talented.
The drummer is Sheridan Riley
Alvvays have the most legitimate performances I've seen so far especially the lead singer/guitarist for she's one of a kind
The recording quality is seriously stunning. Fantastic job to the audio engineers.
Yea props to them👏👍💯
"Hey" is such a brilliant song live
Love molly
❤😌❤

Well this is a pleasant surprise
Never a bad time for Alvvays :)
vampeiyre Alvvays always puts a smile on my face
amen to that 🍻
These people have figured out what complete and ultimate rock & roll perfection is. This. This is what it is.
Damn what an incredible band
ありがとう!
Alvvays, I love you! 🇧🇷
OMG to much brazil
@@weirdoscreation thank you :)

ARGENTINA LOS AMA.
I want to hear Pecking Order live :0 amazing song
They're sooo good
The full concert would be nice...
This was the release approved by the band.
So great!

Please upload full videos :( I just want to watch this band in quarantine and isolation days.
Please..........
You should tune into our Facebook Live re-watch parties. Every weeknight at 8 P.M. EST. Full concerts.
Astounding!
i love you.
Finally! Decent vid footage of this band. But, how is this a "full concert"?
Awesome!)
Absolutely, Федь!
They're are amazing:)
Dope
Full concert please.
This is actually really recorded well..
Our audio engineers thank you for the nice comment :)
Oh That Last Song is New to me! its like a Solo, I love it
i just want a full live concert from the antisocialites era.. anyone know of any floating around??
There's their Coachella performance!
I can't say if they are completely "Full", but there are several concerts that are much longer than this concert here :) But the sound and image quality is not that good, though.
There's a KEXP performance...
@@ColonelKurtz that's different
concert and music session
am i the only one or does molly's singing remind you of nina persson (the cardigans)???
I think it's not full concert. Isn't it? But still amazing
This is what we were approved to release. Hope you enjoy!
Yes! Totally full! This band is known for playing the shortest concerts in the world. It's sort of their gimmick.
Meditate play solitaire and watching molly sings
Anyone got the full video?
"full concert"
hahaha full concert 10 mins
LIES
but we will take what we can get
These were the tracks approved for release by the band. Thanks for watching.
someone already uploaded the full one, i watched it couple of months ago
@@cbcmusic I fully blame the CBC for this outrage, and so many others.
They should tour with pond (they posted they're in the studio so possibly new album, maybe Kevin Parker will be their producer again).

Groovyy
I can’t believe they found a drummer on Molly’s level
Where was this ?
Really? full concert with 11 minutes?
Perhaps beside Beach House one of today's best bands!
My two favorite bands.
Both amazing, try Twin Peaks, their amazing too

Why did they only get to play 3 songs??
Wow that Drummer's build up & climax is so good. A+ 6:24
why is crowd so dead???....
Why they are not making any new albums?
do you expect a new album every year? it's not COD it actually takes effort & time to make music

erhm....that's pretty short for a "full" concert! :D

It's top shelf, though!

Canadian National Treasures… O Canada 🇨🇦
An add in the middle of a song? Seriously?
Not quite a full concert.
