I was born in Baltimore in 1963, which makes me 60 years old now. I moved to Edmondson Village in 1968 in the 1000 block of Mount Holly Street. Back then Edmondson Village was a perfect place to be raised. No such thing as shootings, gangs, maybe a fight here or there, but that was it. All the way up into the late 80s, it was fine. I really wish SOMEONE/ANYONE can explain to me where did all of this HOOD MENTALITY COME from? From it being a safe working class black neighborhood to THIS. I am SPEECHLESS!!!

They moved right around the corner to 600 Lyndhurst before she graduated from Edmondson. I went to Lyndhurst for KG and 1st Grade and then my grandparents moved further back to Flowerton. I even went to Mary E. Rodman fun camp every Summer as a kid. Times were way different even up until the late 90's
