I love that Bright Red and White livery of Air India Express. It's BEAUTYful..!

Yes the red and white livery does look interesting. It is the remnant of Air Asia livery and is temporary for Air India Express. They're switching to a new bright orange livery, only a few planes have it now. Eventually, all Air India Express planes will be in the new orange look

@@flightTribune I hate the new one. Color combination, graphics, logo, everything is bland. It feels like a downgrade.

@@swapnilp5774 It really takes some time for us Indians to accept something new. As a designer myself I can understand it. You must have expected something similar to Vistara's livery. We Indian admire designs with plenty of details( more related to emotions), similarities and standard colors. This type minimal design doesn't work for us and agree that there is no 'wow' factor in the design but we have to move forward with the global trend. Keep livery white because it saves money and time.

Vistara really upped the expectations a lot. But slowly the new Air India liveries are growing on me.

@@atharvzemse6599 Frankly, I find new Air India livery design more assertive and messy than previous one. Previous one was more minimal and cleaner. I personally don't mind newer designs, in fact, welcome them. For example, given Air Asia livery, it looks aesthetically pleasing, cheerful, bold. But I have some reservations regarding new Air India livery. Foremost is the font and overall design of the 'AIR INDIA' logo. It's different, but I find it too off for an airliner. The old bold italic 'AIR INDIA' name in English and Devnagari has been an identity of Air India since several decades, and it looks far better than the 'new' one. Same is for the design of graphics on the tail fin (I don't know what it is called technically). It actually gives a hint of Vistara's. Different but similar theme or taste. Also, those golden strips are unnecessary addition. And the biggest change they ignored was to change that red engine covering, the one negative thing they kept unchanged. White base is fine, but work they have done on the rest design is tasteless.
