Great video! love the "im not patrouski" intro xD Very helpfull and this will definitely help me beat red! Do you think if Dry Skin Toxicroak will be good enough instead of Poli?
Hahahaha thank you, never made a video before and had no idea how to do an intro so thought I'd pay a nod to the 👑 himself. It could definitely work, I just don't know how the AI would react to Toxicroak instead. If you have one and want to test, give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

Great video Caav, first time coming across your channel. I gotta say it's very informative, I appreciate the time you put into it I've learned a lot thank you brother!! Just subscribed and thumb'd up!
Thank you! The E4 Poli team is this one: pokepast.es/8c207d46fe076888 Like all E4 strats, it is based on using "baiters" to set up rocks and trick pokemon on a specific move type, and then bringing in a sweeper to set up and sweep (usually with the help of X Speed.) E4 reruns are a very complex beast without specific step-by-step guides. Lots of expensive learning needed as you have to pay for items and you can wipe resulting in all loss and no money gained.
@@caav.pokemmo oh also cant the poliwrath Just run Aqua jet? Shouldnt It kill the espeon After a belly? Cuz idk how eq gonna be that useful if Ur only gonna use drain punch or ice punch
@@thesoul3333 can't learn Aqua Jet afaik. It can learn vacuum wave but that doesn't get boosted by Belly Drum. You're right that it doesn't use EQ here but if you want to use it for E4 reruns that's the best move. Haven't figured out anything better specifically for Red in that slot yet.
Great video! Spent the past 2 days breeding and leveling these mons. Cost me maybe a half mil or so to get the right IVs, items, and TMs (I pretty much had zero of what was necessary) but the fight itself was very straight forward and really just goes to show how OP immunities are against trainer AI lol. Ill point out that I went with a Jolly Poliwrath (wasn't paying attention) but that it didn't seem to affect any of the rolls. I've also forgone smack down for rock slide to make the Aero better for running gyms immediately after, surely that 10% accuracy will never come back to negatively affect me
I think you might be able to do an adamant Aerodactyl as opposed to Jolly, which might make something like aerial ace viable. Unless red's pikachu has higher than normal stats, then the max speed is 306, where aerodactyl without Jolly would be 359 sp. Might allow for more consistency or cheaper investment for some when making their Aerodactyl breed for Red fight. Edit: just read that Red has the let's go partner pikachu stats which would mean about a max of 365 sp, so Jolly is required, but you can have an aerodactyl with only 3 speed IVs and it should still be fine (assuming the pikachu stats are as calculated) Edit: apparently pikachu is faster than 359. idk
Pretty likely 372 speed. 120 base, Timid, 252 EV trained. We don't know exact EV spreads, a few have non-even 252 distributions. Pikachu most likely 252/timid though.

My tactic is using two cloysters with focus sash and a Aron level 1 endeavor, I start with a cloyster and I set up shell smash, just Blastoise or Snorlax can tank the hits, so I use Aron endeavor for Snorlax and finish him off with a cloyster, the Blastoise u can hit with a Cloyster and then die and finish with the other cloyster
@@caav.pokemmo cinccino or minccino (don't remember) have skill link as his HA. He have bullet seed too... Sooooo I think it's a good change. He can handle Blastoise alone too

I have Red on cooldown so i cant test to see how the AI would react to the Sableye if it were to switch out of Snorlax or stay in to EQ.
Interesting thought, no idea how that would play out. Never heard of a disable setup before but if doable works similarly to encore and if it could survive the EQ I don't see why not.
why not run drifblim or skuntank as the sac mons? with aftermath you get additional chip on the sac. not that it matters too much, but you could maybe result in a saved nasty plot turn.
Tons of options you could do for the sac mons, I just tested instances where they would be totally useless to not interfere with how the strategy ends up playing out. You could even just bring things like Volcorona, Hydreigon @ Scarf, Chomp @ Band to just chunk or OHKO something.
Hi gamers, I built this team and totally neglected the bull stats on all three mons. I have done five test fights with Red and one fight that I completed. I have not seen the AI behave differently than shown in the examples in the video. Hope this helps!
There are tons of options for setup sweepers but I haven't seen one that can reliably bait a move with a single pokemon or two to allow a setup sweeper to come in and set up reliably. The random lead messes with the baiting most of the time. Scrafty/Hydreigon on Espeon locked on psyshock, Gyarados/Salamence/Dragonite/Hydreigon on earthpower or EQ, etc. I'm sure it exists, I just haven't seen it yet.
I just used Mantine with max spdef and HP with Tailwind Toxic Roost Protect with Leftovers. Basically walls 4/6 mons and Tailwind Scarf krook kills pikachu and then its just a case of bringing 4 things to beat Snorlax which isnt too hard.
@@caav.pokemmo yeah they switch a lot, but i used Ferro with rocks at the start of the fight ( can live a hit from anything that isnt Charizard ) which can basically 1v1 snorlax if he leads it with Leech Seed too. Is this still a working strategy?
I haven't specifically tested this one in a little while but everyone who I am aware of using this strategy has not had trouble recently. With that said though I'm working on a better strategy so if you don't have this one done and you're not in any rush, wait a bit ;)
@@caav.pokemmoit works thanks boss! 🔥
Cool strat but can we talk about how Red got to move first with light screen right after he switched out at 5:36? Cheating AI now or am I blind?
EDIT: Nevermind, seems to be actual cheating AI since its an attack after every swap?
Yep, each pokemon has a designated "free move" on switch in. Pikachu - nasty plot, Charizard - sun, Blastoise - rain, Snorlax - reflect, Venusaur - light screen, Espeon - wish. It's just a "fair fight"
notpatrouski lol
Definitely not patrouski
@@caav.pokemmo hehe
Nice video btw
They patched it 🫠🫠
Patched what exactly?
@@caav.pokemmo My bad didn't get the notifications. Basically, the snorlax is switching as soon as u start spamming nasty plot and The blastoise has hidden power. Some of my friends tried it but they were able to do it idk why
@@sly_caillou All good, yeah certain stats on Gengar will cause it to see the switch in, not exactly sure what the threshold. What are your Gengars IVs?
