- The official announcements have been made for Scream Factory's June titles with some details and bundles. Blue Underground and Kino have new 4K titles in the works. Plus MVD Rewind is filling their #3 slot in their 4K line with a film they did not give up on. Let's dive in!

I am looking forward to see the specs for it. While it may not be Tinto Brass' cut it will be a more dramatic version and not the "adult" version. One I will pick up as well.
Just saw The First Omen and thought it was great. Right up there with The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby, imo.

Thank you Richard! Robocop the remake had such a good cast but they really don't get much to do. It needed a big script rewrite. Robocop 2 had a lot of promise. There are some great scenes. I think the Frank Miller script wasn't great. The stop motion was very good. I never saw High Crime. I'm very curious. Didn't we just have a release of April Fools Day that was 4k? I swear I saw it somewhere. We had 2 inch hail which luckily didn't cause any damage that I can find. It was a very noisy night! Got the eclipse coming Monday though there's a chance we might have lots of clouds. I hope you have an excellent weekend!

Robocop 2 is a must. Like the tone in it. Paul Verhoevens original will always be best but its still alot of fun!
The MVD releases are some I want but have not gotten to yet. Sad. But hopefully will unless released here in Europe by 88 films or Arrow.
Blue Underground. Just love that company. Great quality releases. Only wish the slips where VS style thick. Hehe. Want all releases! Agree that when the CD soundtrack is included it is golden!
I have a german bluray release of XTRO with four cuts of the movie and the cd soundtrack!

The soundtrack to RoboCop 2 is horrible compared to 1 & 3 as is the movie in my opinion.
These companies that release holiday themed movies never seem to release them to coincide with the actual holiday. I know I’m nitpicking. I am happy they are being released
I totally know what you mean. Some I don't mind if they come out fairly early just so they are readily available when the holiday comes around but some of them are weird. Like right after the holiday has come and gone. It's like ... why? lol
The Scream Factory announcements for June are underwhelming to say the least.😞
I'm excited for Matinee since I love that film so much and it'll be great for Robocop 2 in 4K. But otherwise, I agree. I still think they are planning something big for later in the year. Or I'm wrong and every month will mainly just be 4K upgrades. lol
Matinee (!) and Robocop 2 are pretty big titles for me, honestly.

I am looking forward not only to a 4K version of April Fools Day, but to no longer having any reason to keep the Scream Factory Blu-ray, which I already intended to get rid of. The Ghoulies poster is so ridiculous. It's based on one second in the entire movie and conveys nothing of what the movie is actually about. 🤣
Hahaha So true! In fact, if I remember correctly the whole toilet bowl thing wasn't even going to be in the movie (or they were going to cut it out, I can't remember exactly) but because the poster had the image on it they kept it in. lol Side note, I have the one sheet and I have been tempted to put it in a frame and put it just outside my guest bathroom. lol

“They’ll get *yours* in the end.” Huh? I’ve never seen this variation on the VHS tagline. Is it an error?
I did not even see that! lol It must be a typo. The original tagline on the poster is, "They'll get you in the end ... again" Hopefully that is caught before they print up all those covers.
@@RichardDiazThe tagline font is terrible too. Is that Copperplate? The Comic Sans of classy fonts? (Of course I’m excited for this release. MVD is awesome, etc.)

These new release prices are ridiculous; I want to pick up THINNER, but I'm not paying Scream Factory over 30 (with tax and shipping) for a Blu-ray. Same for ALIENS - I want to get the 4K, but I'm not giving Disney 40 bucks for it.
It's the reason I held off on buying EXORCIST BELIEVER and THANKSGIVING; I ended up getting THANKSGIVING on Blu at Walmart for somewhat cheaper, but it didn't have a slipcase. From what I understand, BELIEVER is now down to around $20 on sale on 4K, and I don't think it's worth any more.
I want to absolutely continue supporting physical media, but these prices have GOT to come down when they're garden variety single disc releases.
Definitely getting April Fool’s Day. Never watched the Ghoulies movies. They looked like a cheesy super low budget rip off of Gremlins.
The Ghoulies movies basically were a Gremlins rip off but they also aren't copy cats of it so they are their own thing. Definitely low budget but still a lot of fun in my opinion. I grew up watching the first one a lot so that one is kind of special for me.

On days when I need to be around others I keep things simple. My horror shirts I save for my at home days or when I go to specific events. Though on occasion I will wear them to the grocery store. Oh, the looks. lol I don't know exactly who owns the rights to Day Of The Dead. I know they aren't as clear cut as Martin or Dawn Of The Dead with Richard Rubenstein basically being almost the sole owner. I think he is involved with the rights to Day but it was also a co-production and I don't know who owns the other rights to it today. I keep hoping we get a new 4K release of it. I would be all over that so fast. Definitely if I hear even a whisper of a new release I will be making a video as quickly as I can.
