6:37 one thing i really love bout the trash talkers is that when they pause a video they went a few seconds back again to catch back the feeling again when a certain songline/structure/melody/whatever hits in. This is how it should be done! 👍
From this album, blister exists and opium of the people, both absolute belters. My favourite slipknot song is on subliminal verses, Vermilion, what an absolute monster of a song
This album is a kick ass to the ones who were criticizing them saying their sound are just noise and swering, they shut their mouths, 1st album to introduce accustic songs
My favorite part was Hollywood getting so into the melodic part he was practically serenading Smokey, then Smokey looking at him like WHAT are you doing? I laughed so hard.
I was commenting the Nameless for months and I'm so happy to see you guys finally do it, and love the smiles at the end of the songs. As far as backup vocals, that gets handled by clown and now tortilla man. Suggestions for upcoming videos, I think it would be a great weekly series if you would react to the album Feathers & Flesh by Avatar. It's a concept album with every song telling a small story that all adds to a larger story. Please consider!
Joey played guitar for murderdolls. Clown drums for dirty little rabbits. Cory and Jim in stone Sour. Cory sang in junk beer kidnap band. For background vocals in slipknot it's Clown, Chris or tortilla man.
The music video for this song is actually various live performance clips and the audio is them performing this song. They were able to pull off the crazy vocals in the verses live
Murderdolls was a band Joey played for, the GG Allen band was Murder Junkies. Clown and Michael (formerly the guy with the pinocchio nose mask before he was fired) do the backing vocals.
11:30 u actually did in some music videos Chris and the Clown are the back vocals they always screams together or alone, like in Unsainted, or psychosocial, and in every album we have backing screams from them specially in their 1st 3 albums, btw I don't hate the music video I actually enjoy Corey's screams more in the MV but its just like "Custer" its a live, the music video is a live so its good to check out the audio 1st, anyway also Chris does the backing screams in this live
I love Slipknot Saturday and i enjoy it every week since that begins is saturday my fav day from a week ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
What a glorious day it will be for you guys when you have listened to every song on vol. 3 and then you can actually put the album on and listen to it from start to finish. I envy you that experience. Relish it.
It showed a whole different side of the band. It displayed everyone's musical talents. Had ballads, anthems. Weird songs. Had it all. This is their shining gem. Their gold standard in my eyes. Iowa is and will always be everyone's favorite. It's dark and heavy as shit. But volume 3 is close to my heart and always will be.
Morning y'all! Yup slipknot Saturday! Sitting here with my headphones in banging my head at 5:30 am! Lol! Love it! Great reaction today fellas! Thanks guys!!❤️🤗
I just have to say first vid of yours I really watched and instant respect, love love love the MJK wall! Absolutely ready to like you guys just by seeing that and makes me trust your opinions much more!
Btw, when we fans heard these songs for the first time or studied them so to speak, we listened without videos with just the lyrics in front of us. Allows you to picture the meaning in your head through the descriptive nature or emotion let out in the music. So videos will never do justice. You just have to feel it. Not be told how to feel with video cues or mixed messages.
Been a fan forever, but I had forgotten about this one. Rediscovering the chaotic masterpiece that this band is through a newer perspective has been awesome! Y’all two are a lot of fun to watch. 🤘🖤 Recommendations if I may, the song Iowa and the video for Sic from the Disasterpieces DVD in London 2002. Or if you have the time, just that whole show. Easily one of their best performances ever.
Id say the reason not to watch the music videos is because sometimes those are different, edited down versions of the song for commercial use. Such as My Plague, cuts out a lot of the aggressive build up/breakdown section much like the radio version. Also when anyone reacts to videos, it takes away from the visual that the song paints for itself.
@MrNiceGuy I think slipknot is definitely better to hear studio first. For a band like say Alice In Chains or something you can’t go wrong hearing them live before studio for the first time, like the unplugged show or the live at the moore show. Corey is still a good vocalist live but def better in studio.
You guys need to check out some MurderDolls!!! Go old stuff first like "Slit My Wrists", "Dead in Hollywood", "People Hate Me", "Love at First Fright", "She Was A Teenage Zombie" or "197666". Please & thank you!!! Awesome video as always!!! 😁🤘
I'm sooo glad you guys finally got to this song. Holly6 is right the vibe tho. Been waiting for your reactions. ETA clown Chris tortilla background I've seen Paul do some singing too 💞 oh and the video kills
well, since you asked.. in the video clip they use the live performance version where as everyone knows slipknot is for one thing, they are much better in live performances.. and you can't missed chris' back vocals in that video.. he f'n killed it. so.. can' t wait for you guys to react on that one
Slipknot Saturday. I always look forward to this. I haven't heard this one in a while. Now don't forget to react to Rivers of Nihil - Where Owls Know My Name (official video) and Polyphia - Goat (official video). Great bands. Great music. Put it on your list if it's not there already. - Your friendly neighborhood fan
I checked out where owls know my name rivers of nihil and that was unique and badass! Loved it! .And polyphia is awesome too! Thanks for the suggestions!
Every song resonates differently with every person. Like me for instance as a joke in my head I've told girlfriends this is my song for them. Hahahahaa!!!!
Yes, it was an impressive song, not one of my favorites, but it was different. And the backups were made by Chris the one with pinocchio nose (now tortilla man XD ) and clown
Killers Are Quiet is my favorite Slipknot song. I wonder if they will ever get around to reacting to pre-Corey Taylor era. It may be overlooked or forgotten but
What's happening fellas. You guys should try some Filter "Welcome to the Fold". Great band, and you guys should definitely check out HUM from the 90's very very underrated band. Stars is a good one to start with, or The Pod. Great work as always brothers, keep it going 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I imagine the Backstreet boys invaded the recording studio and kicked them out during the slower points, and then the band beats them up during the rest of the song.
Official music video isn't for studio version, it's from a live album and I would say that version is much better. Chris used to be their backing vocalist, besides doing percussion. They never do backing vocals for studio recordings, it's for live performances only. Clown occasionally acts as second backing vocalist, but Chris is the one who used to do it on every single show.
They've done plenty of backing vocals in studio, it's like half the band screaming "People = shit" on people = shit. Plus the Disasterpiece chorus, Heretic Anthem chorus, pretty much anything that isn't a verse other than on Unsainted or This Cold Black.
Murderdolls, Murderdolls, Murderdolls, Murderdolls. Please react to Murderdolls. Joey Jordison was the guitarist and Wednesday 13 from N.C. the vocalist. This was and is one of my favorite bands. Check out the songs Death Valley Superstars and the cover of Billy Idol's White Wedding.
I used to use this song for anger management when I was with my ex. I would go out in the garage and hit the heavy boxing bag to this song till I vented it all out. 🤬
Oh and may I say rn, just watched this vid to the end and found it funny how you were talking about playing it live wouldn’t be easy, their live version of this is the only one I listen to, it’s way better live in My opinion. So please listen to it, I believe there is a live video with it as well.
6:37 one thing i really love bout the trash talkers is that when they pause a video they went a few seconds back again to catch back the feeling again when a certain songline/structure/melody/whatever hits in. This is how it should be done! 👍
🙏🙏🙏
Slipknot: The Virus Of Life , is sick. Slow, but crazy psycho sounding. Love it
They done it already
I suggested that one too, but check their old videos.
From this album, blister exists and opium of the people, both absolute belters. My favourite slipknot song is on subliminal verses, Vermilion, what an absolute monster of a song
They have reacted to both already.
Side Note: "The Blister Exists" Is easily in my top 3 favorite songs by Slipknot.
Yes. Finally. So underrated
This one plucks the heartstrings for me. Whoever TRULY writes their lyrics (especially VOL3 SubVerse) is a master
Dude, the sheer balls it took to create this album after Iowa.
Check out their bonus song from this album called scream, extremely underated song
Same I love this song so much
Slight correction: The backup vocals for this songs live version (which is more popular) are done by Chris Fehn, not Clown
Joey played guitar for murderdolls. Clown drums for dirty little rabbits. Cory and Jim in stone Sour. Cory sang in junk beer kidnap band. For background vocals in slipknot it's Clown, Chris or tortilla man.
Chris’s back up vocals are bad ass & brutal in this and great drum intro! would love for you to check out Car Radio or Lane Boy by twenty one pilots.
I feel like chris and Paul are better than corey in death metal growl/scream
@@xvor_tex8577 it’s not Paul, it’s Clown!
@@michaelmyers7393 Paul has done vocals before, mainly Get This
One of my faves from this amazing album 🤘🖤
Cradle of filth - from the cradle to enslave (uncensored video)
One of the best by Slipknot! I love it!!!
But Simon and Garfunkel comment was LOL 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joey’s bass drum during this album was nuts.
It honestly was tbh.
Clown and formerly Chris is the backing vocals. The lyrics video is the album version and the video is the single version I believe.
The MV is a live, just like Custer where the MV is the live and audio the album version
Clown and chris did it until chris wasn’t in the band anymore.clown and tortilla man do it now.
Great reaction 👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Volume 3 is a whole vibe for me. I would say my most played record of all time.
The music video for this song is actually various live performance clips and the audio is them performing this song. They were able to pull off the crazy vocals in the verses live
Please consider CLIFF'EM ALL. Seek and Destroy live Munich 1985
Murderdolls was a band Joey played for, the GG Allen band was Murder Junkies. Clown and Michael (formerly the guy with the pinocchio nose mask before he was fired) do the backing vocals.
Pretty sure his name is Chris. Michael is the name of the guy who replaced him...
To me one of the hidden gems of Slipknot for sure. Bruttaly Underrated Song!
Gotta do “welcome” off this same album. Love slipknot saturdays
Ooh amazing suggestion
Man I just live for slipknot Saturdays!!
🙏🙏🙏
Murder doll was Joey Jordison. Stone sour Is Corey's. Dirty little Rabbits is Shawn. Back up vocals go from Clown to Tortilla guy
back up on this were Chris and Shawn
Sure it was just Chris ? Sure was just Chris, not 100% Sure but definitely think it was just Chris
11:30 u actually did in some music videos
Chris and the Clown are the back vocals they always screams together or alone, like in Unsainted, or psychosocial, and in every album we have backing screams from them specially in their 1st 3 albums, btw I don't hate the music video I actually enjoy Corey's screams more in the MV but its just like "Custer" its a live, the music video is a live so its good to check out the audio 1st, anyway also Chris does the backing screams in this live
Btw Chris used to be
Now the Tortilla man is(along with the clown)
Stone Sour = Corey Taylor, Jim Root.
Dirty Little Rabbits = Shawn Crahan, Michael Pfaff.
DJ Starscream = Sid Wilson.
Murderdolls = Joey Jordison.
i usually see chris and clown do the backup vocals. in newer slipknot, its clown and tortilla guy. correct me if im wrong.
You right
I love Slipknot Saturday and i enjoy it every week since that begins is saturday my fav day from a week ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Love the sublime t shirt Hollywood! Love it! "Slipknot Saturdayers"!❤️🤓
What a glorious day it will be for you guys when you have listened to every song on vol. 3 and then you can actually put the album on and listen to it from start to finish. I envy you that experience. Relish it.
Great reactions, glad you guys did this.
Still need Rush Thursdays though!
I'm new to ya'll and I've requested this song without knowing ya did this already. My favorite song.
This is one of my favorite Slipknot songs if not my favorite... but it is the one I never watched them playing live in the concerts I went to.
The whole telling him the name without telling him in the beginning of every video always nails me with nostalgia. So crazy how fast like can change.
Murderdolls - my dark place alone
The legendary joey shredding guitar
This song is fire!!!!!!!!
8:10 hahahaha 😂😂
The best Slipknot album. Hands down, no questions.

Knocked another one out of the park guys!!!!! Awesome choice of song🤘
I just have to say first vid of yours I really watched and instant respect, love love love the MJK wall! Absolutely ready to like you guys just by seeing that and makes me trust your opinions much more!

Another great reaction guys! I always look forward to Slipknot Saturday!
I love the dynamic changes in this song.
Been a fan forever, but I had forgotten about this one. Rediscovering the chaotic masterpiece that this band is through a newer perspective has been awesome! Y’all two are a lot of fun to watch. 🤘🖤
Recommendations if I may, the song Iowa and the video for Sic from the Disasterpieces DVD in London 2002. Or if you have the time, just that whole show. Easily one of their best performances ever.
Look at this band called slaughter to prevail they are really good
They've done reactions to Demolisher and Baba Yaga
I'm gonna have to check these guys out!
Man!!! I checked them out and they are heavy as f**k! Loved it! Thanks for the suggestion!!
Corey rockin out to some Journey in the beginning 😊😆
🤣
Another one of my favs this week!!!
Waiting for Heretic Anthem and Iowa. Strap in for those. Would love to see more slipknot live reactions. Especially from Download 2009
If they want to listen Iowa they should watch the live one
I'm still shocked we haven't seen heretic anthem yet
@MrNiceGuy Hopefully the live version on Conan or download 2009
@MrNiceGuy I think slipknot is definitely better to hear studio first. For a band like say Alice In Chains or something you can’t go wrong hearing them live before studio for the first time, like the unplugged show or the live at the moore show. I love the music video please please do it next it’s so awesome
Just seen them do this song in grand rapids Michigan with my boys for theyre first time 2 days ago 🤘
Murderdolls was Joey J, DJ Starscream is Sid's dj name, and offhand I believe dirty little rabits is clowns side project.
Love u guys, your friendship together is slipknot
I really think you guys should check out the murderdolls! They're awesome! RIP Joey jordison.
I live in Iowa, the Des Moines register had an entire article about this song going almost #1 and being about rape!!
I will SCREAM it every week until it happens, The Heretic anthem is a must for slipknot Saturday.
Heretic Anthem sucks.
@@decoil lmao
Motionless in White - masterpiece 💯🔥
If you check out murder dolls check out their cover of white wedding or dead in Hollywood.
Next should be Slipknot- Till We Die 👍🏼
I'm sooo glad you guys finally got to this song. Holly6 is right the vibe tho. Been waiting for your reactions. ETA clown Chris tortilla background I've seen Paul do some singing too 💞 oh and the video kills
Those bass drums sound like my heart after drinking a 6 pack of Red Bulls and snorting a 5 hour energy drink.
I love this song because were written by the one and only joey jordison 🖤
You need to react to Caleb H drummer, dude covers Slipknot drums........he's pretty good 😹
well, since you asked.. in the video clip they use the live performance version where as everyone knows slipknot is for one thing, they are much better in live performances.. and you can't missed chris' back vocals in that video.. he f'n killed it.
so.. can' t wait for you guys to react on that one
I'm glad that you did. Both bands have been getting a lot of attention lately.
The Murder Junkies was GG allins band.. The Murder Dolls was Joey Jordisons (along with members of Dope and static X) band away from slipknot
11:40 Shawn (Clown), Michael (Tortilla man), and Chris (Nose) before they kick him out of the band, they're always two I think.
Every song resonates differently with every person. Like me for instance as a joke in my head I've told girlfriends this is my song for them. Hahahahaa!!!!
I saw murderdolls many years ago with Rob zombie and Alice Cooper, you should check out my dark place alone. Joey was the drummer.
What a show!
Yes, it was an impressive song, not one of my favorites, but it was different. And the backups were made by Chris the one with pinocchio nose (now tortilla man XD ) and clown
Seriously, ya gotta check out Murderdolls now. Ain't no GG Allen in that. Slit my wrist or Dead in Hollywood are good ones.
Killers Are Quiet is my favorite Slipknot song. I wonder if they will ever get around to reacting to pre-Corey Taylor era. It may be overlooked or forgotten but
This song perfectly describes every toxic relationship I have had in my life
I didn't realize what day it was till I saw this pop in my notifications 😂
9.0 live drum solo. If you like Joey's drumming you will like this.
Slipknot Saturdayliens? (Saturday-Aliens) I don't know if that's too clunky or not, it sounds better but looks weird in text.
My favorite look of Cory Taylor in Slipknot was his stitch face mask with his long rainbow hair.
I love this fucking song.
I’m shocked you guys didn’t watch the video. It’s not bad.
8:11 is a golden moments 🤣🤣
I imagine the Backstreet boys invaded the recording studio and kicked them out during the slower points, and then the band beats them up during the rest of the song.

Check Eeyore, drums at the end will not leave you indifferent . Hi u from Belarus 🇧🇾
You guys should check out Devil Driver, Roadrunner United, and some more Maximum the Hormone 🤣
Clown is the backup singer he back up sings in almost half the slipknot songs
Chris used to do the back up vocals but now it’s New Guy/Tortilla Man/Michael Pfaff
Chris(long nose) used to do back up and screams.
I love the carnival clown music in that song.
You really need to check out Throat Full of Glass by Combichrist, amazing song, great band
I used to use this song for anger management when I was with my ex. I would go out in the garage and hit the heavy boxing bag to this song till I vented it all out. 🤬
Chris and Shawn sing backup
Hell yeah, finally
You guys should really listen to some of the mate feed kill repeat era slipknot
the official music just shows a bunch of clips from concerts from there Vol. 3 tour
He is Christopher Michael Fehn(long nose mask)
Oh and may I say rn, just watched this vid to the end and found it funny how you were talking about playing it live wouldn’t be easy, their live version of this is the only one I listen to, it’s way better live in My opinion. So please listen to it, I believe there is a live video with it as well.
