As someone who's also invested in equipment for content creation, this video has motivated me to stop procrastinating and get back to uploading. I, too, want to capture my life with a specific style and vision, but achieving that requires the right tools. Currently, I’m using a MacBook Pro M3 for editing and an iPhone 13 Pro for recording. I've spent a lot of time searching for the perfect camera and gear, but for now, I’ve decided to stick with what I have and gradually figure out what I truly need. Thank you for sharing this video, and I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
Well said! All the best to you as a creator as well, and thanks for the support! I understand all too well about the urges to get new gear, so if you're able to make do with what you have currently (which is actually really decent), that's awesome :)
I wish you all the success possible with your channel. Whatever happens you will never have regrets that you didn't go all in. I know your channel will grow enough to become something really good.
This video made me laugh, but not for the reasons you would think. When you said AUD, I was confused. Your voice sounded so American! Then I start listening harder and your accent is the same as any person I’ve grown up with besides your “O”s which sounds like “er”, and every “Er” sounds like “uh”. It was just so funny how distinctly aussie only those two sounds are
Good luck! I an in a similar position, bought a lot of gear and trying to start a channel. Right now I am just helping with my friend’s channel, so that I am at least learning to use all the tech I bought, but the goal is to start my own channel. This is motivating to see someone similar, thank you :)
I did the same thing! The reason I ended up getting the camera is because I know that an iPhone can do a great job in the beginning however, I get distracted easily and need a camera to be OFF my phone! I am subbing to follow this journey as I am also taking this same step!
Oh awesome! I never thought of the phone distraction aspect so that’s actually a nice benefit to point out about getting a camera :) Thanks for the support and good luck to you too!
man im trying so hard not to upgrade from my phone camera! its hardddd! Im glad you bought what you like! Thats what it's all about at the end of the day!
If you’re able to stick with what you have for as long as you can, then props to you! Haha that’s so true, I couldn’t resist myself, but I don’t regret it at the end of the day :)
As well as looking to get Sony G lens 16-55, which runs for $1400 USD. But glad to see how the Sigma looks on it cause I know that’s super popular setup. Again, great video!!
I also may get the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Gimbal camera , Creator Pack which includes one DJI mic 2 that connects to the Pocket 3 directly without a receiver.
Thanks heaps for watching! I too am actually heavily considering the Osmo Pocket 3 and currently debating getting that or an 11mm Sony lens for my A6700. I’m sure you won’t go wrong with what you pick. All the best :))
@@GoogsYT oh that sounds awesome too. Best wishes on those add-ons and the pocket 3. I too want a wide angle for the Sony. The 10-20mm or the 11 mm. 😁🙌🏼👌🏼
I'm using iphone 14 pro max for my daily vlogs and I gained 350 k followers in my fb page 120 k on TikTok and 2 k here in RUclips I would love to upgrade just like a a6700 and the same camera lens like yours
Subbed up because I did a similar thing lol. I got a Nikon Z30, Mantispod, DJI Mic (the first model), and Joby Wavo Pro Shotgun mic. Still trying to get proficient in Davinci Resolve. A big fat ZERO videos created lol, hopefully soon though!
@@PbearDiaries I'm sure it just takes some getting used to (i'm still learning too haha), but it's awesome to have such a good quality camera in that small of a form factor. Hope you've been enjoying yours :)
@GoogsYT haha yeah, it takes some getting used to. It is a brilliant gimbal, I took along when I went for a holiday. Pretty good quality for a beginner.
I can’t tell you from hands-on experience, but from what I’ve seen it does seem like a worthy investment in that price range. I originally wanted a ZV-E10 and I’ve even been watching a lot of ZV-1F videos recently that look awesome, so honestly I think the ZV-E10 II is worth looking into and you won’t go wrong with it :)
I went to a DJI store and they gave me a discount on it after showing interest in it (somewhere in the $400 range, definitely less than $500).. yeah tbh I’m not sure I’d spend the whole $529 if there was no discount haha
Not anymore 😭 But you’re right, money plays a critical role when it comes to equipment, which is why I had to save for a while to get to this stage :) Thanks for watching!

The "DJI Mic 2 Camera Adapter" for Sony will make your life a little easier, especially outside the studio.
@@DrKlausReichert Yes indeed! The adapter has been soo convenient since getting it :)

Thanks so much for your kind words!
This is for you as well. Seeing the results of your gear is priceless too.
This is actually good set up.❤
Supporting your channel from Qld.

3 long form videos in, less than 20 subs, and I’m reallly tempted to get a camera!
It sure is a tough decision haha!
Hi, rooting for you. :)
Hi, thank you :)
lol 😂. This reminds me when I told my wife NO. I will not start recording videos unless I buy the Sony a74 that I have no idea how to use !
hahaha learning with a new purchase is the way to go 😅😎
I also film with the same camera…. The Logitech of course :) :)
Can't go wrong with the logitech cam :))
Amazing vid!
Thanks mannn

Oh, I have exactly the same camera and lens.
Oh nice! How are you finding the combo?
Love this vid!!

I buy gear b/c I can. :-) My 40 subscribers rock. :-) Nice kit.
Top tier video 🤌
Thanks homie
I’m also just starting out but I decided on the DJI Pocket 3…hope it turns out nice
Nice! The Pocket 3 is very cool, so I’m sure you’ll be happy with what you record :))
I've got the DJI Pocket 3 too! But I feel very self-conscious if I were to use it around. It is different if I am overseas for a holiday though haha

Bro I’m saving for the Sony zve10 ii
is it worth it 😔

Where did you find the mic for around $400? Your link shows its over $500

Are you wearing a wig?
uhh... not that I'm aware of 😂
