E39, driver side door actuator & latching mechanism

E39 owners just some supplement tips regarding the removal and operation of the door actuator and latching mechanism. Also, for bimmerfest members (its free)...see link below for a great "how-to". I just thought this vid might be a decent supplement to a great PDF instructions made by "Fudman"...

I have my passenger side front door double locked and i'm trying to open it manually through the airbag hole. Can you show me what i need to do to release it from lock? You can show it by giving the right time from this video so i know what to move.

Look at the 6:00 minute mark, this is what the locking rod is attached. Not sure if one can maneuver though the air-bag hole to reach this...good luck.

I finally got it open through the airbag hole! It's not the lever what you said at 6:00 mark. It's the one at 10:13. It's on lower left and i think it's the one where the exterior handle wire is attached.
