I loved the part where a single Apex FF7 event pack costs more than the original FF7 game on Steam. Truly an EA experience.

Apex ranked is full of aimbotting cheaters it’s actually insane every game you play in ranked has cheaters I swear every game has CHEATERS THIS GAME IS NOT LEGIT. Currently in masters and I see it literally every match this game is dog *** . And the the cheaters think they are good it’s a joke
I hate when people complain about cosmetics/skins being expensive in a free to play game which is not even pay to win. Just don't buy it! It won't affect your gameplay.
I loved the part where they gave us a chance to earn the heirloom for free and the chance is 0.00001%, and the entire event costing 360$. Truly an apex experience

their is no chance to get the heirloom its random in one of the packs so you could get it in the first pack
@@Stantastic5 Yea but its a 100% chance on your 500th pack, so the chance is actually 1/500 or 0.002%
@@arsalkhan4329 wait but there is only 36 event packs. It isn’t like getting an random heirloom there will be 4 free event packs and 32 other ones so it if you don’t get it out of the other packs you will get it on the 36th one.
@@arsalkhan4329 No, could theoretically be lower than 0.002, because you its guaranteed every 500th pack. That means it could just be lets say 0.000001%, and for the 500th pack be 100%. That doesn't mean its at a 0.002%

I hope in the future that this event is cited as one of the reasons monetization in games had to be regulated. Sunk cost fallacy, gamblers fallacy, etc. This is basically a clinic on predatory practices/manipulation. “You can sheer a sheep many times, but you can only skin it once.” Absolutely brutal EA/Respawn.

I love the part where they made each of the 36 packs cost 1000 coins ($360 total) making this event cost more than two normal heirloom collection events. Truly an apex experience of all time

@@michaellevin2861 3 skins at 1:08. Valks buckles and finger are scuffed, Wraith has a finger nail at her knuckles and her finger goes the wrong way, and Wattsons mouth, hand, button, and patch are all janky. Anyone with eyes can tell its AI
@@JollyConcretethe poses and designs are definitely human made but the details and rendering is not .respawn probably made the in-house artists do the basics and let the ai do the rendering which it clearly messed up

I loved the part where i, as an OG gamer, return from a long break to the battlegrounds of Apex, only to be instantly shredded by this ridiculously overpowered sword. It's the universe's way of telling me to hit uninstall again. What an apex legends experience!

Exactly. People who spend any money on this event are morons. Everybody is complaining about the state of the game, but will still go spend money on FF skins in the store. Respawn thinks we're all idiots. People can do whatever they want with their money, but I better not see a single person with a FF skin/buster sword complain about the game.

Same. I love this game. The gunplay and movement is unmatched compared to other FPS games with the exception of Titanfall. Really would be devastated to see this game die.

I doubt it. This event doesn't fix any of the actual issues with the game. It's just something to do in FF7 skins while being cfg aimbotted by roller on 20 tick rate servers with a universal heirloom that will most likely be broken all for a money grab because of the crossover. It will be fun for the first few days, then it will get boring. Just like any other event in the game with the exception of three strikes.

@fi5707 it's also an heirloom. The heirloom obviously won't have the attacks as the playable item but you'll be able to pull it as an heirloom for all legends from the event packs.

For those asking: if you unlock all 36 cosmetics you get the Buster Sword R5 as a Cosmetic Melee Weapon. This can be equipped on any legend and it replaces your fists or heirloom.
It only has added gameplay benefits if found in the special game mode. After the event it’s just a melee weapon with some inspect animations.
It WONT be going to the mythic store after the event. This is your only chance to get it, as of right now.

It's insane that they made some of the best looking designs ever look so bad for this crossover. Tifa and Aerith skins look horrendous, I don't even know if I want them.

Agreed, with skins like these, Respawn doesn't even need authorization from FF. Nobody can tell who are who if you don't say. It's almost an insult to characters in FF.
Ballistic needs a buff ✨ His passive ability should be reviewed. It should be born with a p2020 pistol as a third weapon, replaceable by the player via loot on the ground, and its third weapon should recharge its magazine every ten seconds. A single magazine, automatically made full every ten seconds (the third weapon would still remain without accessories, as now)

APEX this is what you NEEDED!! Spice the game up. Fortnite got big when they added a giant sword in the game but it took you guys 3 years longer to think of this. I hope you make an uprising cause thsi is def a needed event to try and keep the game alive
They just finished the insanely popular three strikes mode. The game is doing just fine
“Spicing the game up” with cosmetics will not fix the actual core issues of the game itself. We haven’t had a functional ranked system in nearly a year.
