Tidal dropped their monthly subscription to match Spotify. Occasionally I use my wife’s Spotify. On earbuds SQ is equal. But on better audio gear subjectively, Tidal is better.

Such a scam 😂 coming from the 90's where artists sold songs for $1 and you kept a copy. Thats said most of my music was downloaded for free :) id buy the cd/or track if it was really good and worth paying for. Most isnt.
I certainly wasnt being robbed monthly for a loan 😂

Good for you, if you paid 20 dollars a month you could get 240 songs a year for the price of this subscription and that’s the most expensive one, so if that’s all the different songs you listen too in a year then yes it isn’t as good, but for someone like me who hopes around new different albums everyday it’s way better, considering that they have thousands upon thousands of tracks on there

I honestly prefer spotify. I don’t know much about tidal, but some things i really like about spotify are those playlists that gets created based on the music you listen to. And not to forget about spotify wrapped which is literally the highlight of my year😂

the big reason why most people use tidal is audio quality. the audio quality of tidal compared to spotify is crazy. so much better audio quality for around the same price

@@OutlineUtilsOur family Tidal account literally makes people get emotional when hearing "music done right" through just an entry level dac/amp and headphones set up at home. It's worth having Spotify for the everyday use because it is a way nicer app to interact with and find and find common ground with more people more often than not, BUT having a second "service" such as Tidal along with it, makes it being into music potentially twice as real and personalized as a hobby. Hopefully more will take that extra step and get closer in order to hear what the other extreme of Music hobbyist suggest performance/enjoyment by budget wise.
