Did he not say it to Lazarus? I’m asking with all purity knowing full well Dan will not see or answer this question. He did say no to healing his friend and let him die for the glory of God to be revealed in resurrection.

I think it is a dangerous theology just to say that either a person gets healed or they die because it's their time. Remember, there are millions of people suffering that will live years with it. I've been sick for many years without relief, others lay in bed all day in agonizing pain. They will live many years like this...I don't have all the answers but we must persist for these people. But yes, we will all die some day.

However Dan Mohler doesn't gives us a reason, what do I answer to the sick person who has faith, for whom I have prayed and fasted and yet doesn't get healed. What do I tell them when they ask me "why wasn't I healed?" Do I blame him or do I blame me and tell Him to go and see someone who really has the power to heal?

I will never forget a dream and experience I had many years ago. I dreamed about a man walking back and forth praying, Jesus heal me and fill me with the Holy Ghost. He would then drop his arms and head and say, I don't understand why Jesus doesn't heal me or fill me with the Holy Ghost. Then Jesus appeared off in the distance. Suddenly there was a bright flash of light and Jesus was walking towards us. When he arrived, he fastened his eyes on the man. The very next time he said, I don't understand why Jesus doesn't heal me or fill me with the Holy Ghost, Jesus stood up and said, I will tell you why. Jesus walked over where there was a ramp and began lifting it till it reached chest height. He said before I can heal you and fill you with the Holy Ghost, this is where your faith has to be. Then he lowered it back down to the ground and said, right now this is where your faith is and I can't do a thing for you. The next morning we were called to pray for a man that had cancer. We prayed and believed and told him he was well now, to get up and walk around. His reply was, oh no, I didn't expect God to do that, just maybe ease the pain a little. The man died about two weeks later of cancer. It was God's will to heal this man but his lack of faith prevented it. I never forgot that dream!
It's a dangerous thing to blame the sick person. If they believe God heals EVERY time, but they Don't get healed, they could end up walking away not even believing that GOD EXISTS. Myself, my husband, and my daughter all have serious medical issues that cause TREMENDOUS pain, we pray for healing every day. Years ago I questioned this and got the point where i questioned God's existence. I CHOOSE to believe He is God, and He is GOOD- irrespective of whether I'm in pain or watching my family suffer. Sometimes he removes the problem. Sometimes, like the 3 Hebrew boys thrown into the fire, He walks with us, through it .
God can heal through anyone, not just Dan and Todd, God hasnt given us authority over him but authority over the situation.. That's Biblical. It's Biblical that God could have healed that man through any person in that church. Why blame an obviously Godly man?
A lot of Paul's friends were sick in the Scriptures and so was he. How many godly people where glasses today? This is very well aimed false doctrine. Most of the healed in New Testament were not believers beforehand and none of the people that our LORD Jesus healed were Christians. This ploy can only damage faith in those who fail to be healed. Much effort has to be made in order to cover up the words in Scripture that say contrary to these false statements. Read Matthew chapter 18 to see the truth.
@@rl6889You are so right and it makes my heart leap up in faith to meet another in this darkened age where many believe in the "Name it and claim it," or seed faith. Now, that does not mean that I don't believe scripture or am mocking Jesus. I believe a person can serve God in pain better than a well person without God or one who claims they are a Christian but denies Christ by their lifestyle. This pain that I have I believe God has given it to me for a reason and the reason is he has a healing ministry for me for those who are in pain. I am going to tell them we are going to fight the good fight. Jesus overcame the law of sin and death for us. It seems to me it is better to go for God and see if his ways and understandings are not more true and loving for us than our own.
