Wow! What a great first video. I think thi decklist is really solid and can't wait to see more from you! I personally like running adusted gold, dark calling, and malicious bane as a little side engine that can be tacked on to any combo (malicious bane is my favorite monster) but i really like this hero deck nonetheless. Keep it up!

Unfortunately something has to be cut and the extra dark calling brick at the highest level of play is usually a huge difference maker. Thank you and happy to be here/help! I tried both philosophies this format and still preferred breakers. I did get 2nd with 12 hand traps in my deck at an OTS championship out of town though. I have plenty of ideas for original content, so I hope you enjoy my channel and lists in the future as well as this one.
I've been thinking about cutting the handtraps for awhile, glad to see I'm not the only one. I'd probably throw an Evenly in the side(works wonders for me). Searchable off of Thrust and there's lets generic negates floating around in the format.
I def recommend, considering why you play certain nonengine which is why I made it to the conclusion of no hand traps a long time ago, unless one completely ends a certain decks turn because we will only reliably draw 1. Decimator also is handy against the buster blader. Since a tenpai buster top in OCG, there might be a few also branded blader. Faced my friend who had branded buster and Decimator literally saved my butt since it's a link and the effects are continuous
Haven't heard of this deck! Seems really neat and yes having a link monster that can gain attack is super helpful against bagooska and Scareclaw Tri-Heart as well!

Go check out my most recent deck profile, I actually show them to avoid confusion! I do not use perfect fits as they can damage cards over time. I use OCG art sleeves with those dragon shield outers. Hope this helps and thank you for commenting!
I had someone suggest that idea to me however I think that is not specific enough to the HERO strategy. Black goat laugh targets is a bit subjective depending on the game state but I will add a tab on my spreadsheet that covers the best targets for each specific deck. Thank you for watching!
I play two poly because it comes up so often. Not in matches where my board is dominating but sometimes I need the clap back and can get to my second poly
I love two poly as well because it allows you to play around your vyon chokepoint a lot easier and can be a huge swing going 2nd. In this list I just wanted to play the least amount of cards possible and poly does nothing on it's own. Had to make some concessions somewhere so I had to cut it. Love the list but think about dropping two mask change for En Shuffle, you can tag out any hero to shadow Mist and cause it was special summon you can search the mask change feel it makes the deck more consistent and if you got en shuffle and the ash your Stratos you can En shuffle and at least end on a dark law
I have tested this! I think EN shuffle is really awesome but requires you to play either Blazeman or Spirit of Neos to really get the full power of playing the card. Heya, neat stuff really. I'm curious though, what would you replace in the extra for Dystopia for time reasons? I'm guessing AbZero is the only real option here, but I simply don't really know.
Dystopia for me is not for time reasons. I rarely ever go for time, I use him for the additional pop if you watch my combo video! I cut dangerous for dystopia which can come back to bite you but it doesn't come up too too often.

I'm really curious.since we now have 3 mali what is your opinion on destiny draw? I tried putting 2 of them in(since I can't afford thrust)and so far I like it it feels pretty nice and I have almost never bricked off of it,the highlight being when I startwd my turn wit d draw,pitching mali and then drawing hero lives and fusion destiny from that.What do you think about that
I think D-Draw is very very fun and feels amazing to resolve. Unfortunately we do not really have the targets to consistently start our turn with it. There are only 5 D-HEROs in my deck at the moment and this would require you to play more which do nothing on their own. I think allure of darkness is better and I have seen a list playing it recently which used my breaker line up with the 3 allures. I liked his list and seems really fun. I am not actually electing to main thrust at the moment and this profile is a few months old now, the game evolves at such a quick pace that it might be better to check out some of my more recent ones it what I meant haha. Man, out of everything in this deck list. The triple Thrust hurts me. Don't get me wrong. I understand why we should run it. Some of us just don't have the money or trades for cards like that.
Luckily I have a deck profile coming out next week that is more "budget" (no thrust) and is still very competitive! It uses the same theory for this list but does not play thrust and plays a different way to beat hand traps that is pretty spicy. I have been playing it at locals and having about the same success as usual (x-0 or x-1). Stay tuned for that!
Why doesnt everyone play 3 E-Call? Isnt it almost as good as Stratos (exzept when you get drolled) and sometimes even More versatile to get liquid or neos etc? I kinda think it adds more consistency and lets you draw the bricks less often
It's mostly just for deck size. I like E Call but there really isn't anything to cut. I'm already playing a relatively low amount of nonengine. You are right about versatility but it is mostly about space. The deck is already consistent you have a 95%+ chance to open a starter in 5 in 41 cards. Yes you will draw your bricks less often but you will also draw your nonengine less often and I would like to draw a talents every game if possible and playing close to 40 gives me the highest chance to do so.
Honestly I am of the unpopular opinion that I don't want a negate. I am hoping for a Snake-eyes Popular esque card that when you add it from your deck to hand it summons itself and on summon adds polymerization specifically. This would make it so you can play through ash/imperm more consistently on your weaker hands and they should make it an E-HERO so it can be searched by emergency call. Hope this gives you some ideas!
@BlakeHERO We do need more gas so that would be a welcome addition. A Hero version Poplar sounds like just a 1 of. Personally I would love a modern field spell that adds a Hero, allow an additional normal summon only on the turn it is activated, and a once per turn destruction protection from Raigeki
@@jackiechan6666 I think a field spell is also another option! I am just so used to not having a field spell but another skyscraper maybe skyscraper 3 would be awesome with an effect like that
Stratos pop, blast bounce, DPE pop, cosmic, and storms + duster for fissure (fissure is actually really easy for us to out and play around). Shifter is shifter and it’s very hard to beat, if they are a shifter deck that special summons you can set up black goat otherwise post side you can grab a normal trap that beats them. Thrust will set it directly from deck so you are playing 4x copies. Some games I get shiftered and just say pass because a lot of the shifter decks brick more or can’t otk. Hope this gives you some ideas!
Only 1 is needed, it takes a little getting used to but very worth it once you are adjusted. Post infernal rage you do not need the additional follow up the 2nd provides plus it does nothing on it's own. I appreciate your comment and please subscribe and share!

I won't say never but I do not really enjoy the Maxx "C" mini game that MD has. I am a TCG competitive player with not much experience in MD. If they do a huge shake up like banning Maxx "C", there's a chance I would make content for it. Thank you for checking out my video anyway!
I play against floo at least once a locals. This is what the thrust is for in case you get shiftered! Favorite Contact is very very strong into floo as well. Stun is a dice roll matchup but if we can solidify DPE even going 2nd we have a very good chance against this deck. Sometimes we have enough gas to get through stun, or we can Dark Angel lock them too. Thank you for the question and for watching!

I loved magical spring! I unfortunately just don’t own them nor do I have the room to play them anymore because we only have so much nonengine. I do really like the card tho and glad you enjoyed! I always preferred divine wind. It forces them to take care of it by other means if they can't beat over it with the hand or field they have. And I prefer dystopia over dangerous. Dystopia with Sunrise is just so OP. A free pop every turn. Two on yours. I also like Masked hero Acid. Free field wipe with absolute zero. I've tried Masked Hero Koga (I wanted to cover light monsters to switch out) but there are no light heros that really need to dodge anything out. And I just never liked Dread Decimator. Ever. Idk. Maybe I'm missing something. Also... Why does nobody run malicious bane anymore? That thing is OP. Edit:now that I'm looking... Dangerous gives more versatility on targets to send to grave and gets easy dumps. I've been doing it wrong.
Blast is better in my opinion because it allows you to trade better into interruptions like another set imperm and is really good into runick fountain. I am also playing dystopia now but you need to be mindful that if you use dystopia pop with sunrise his attack reduces to his original attack and does not go back up for a pop every turn. You must find a new way to boost dystopias attack (dread or honest neos). Dread decimator is because a good amount of the time we have extra bodies but no fusion spell and nothing to do with them. Koga just does not come up enough for me, as well as acid. acid is not needed either because SNW does exactly what you want acid to do and more. Malicious bane is a decent card if you can have it so that you never draw dark calling, but the fact of the matter is at the highest level of play adding another brick into your deck for something your deck already does (destruction field wipes) is just not worth it when it could be more nonengine played. Hope all of this helps you dude!
We already have built in anti-hand trap protection, I would play the max copies of mask change and if you want more I would play mask change 2 as well. Thank you for the question and comment!

It can send mali if you have not normal summoned yet to be an extender, it can be a good starter not using your normal summon by sending mist, it can dump your denier to keep you playing. A lot of options and good utility in this card and I believe it is mandatory
Unfortunately master duel is so different that I really can't give you the best advice. Maxx C warps that format and different card pool. If you want to play this list in master duel I would say daruma karma cannon could be a replacement in the main but I would suggest Jaden BR for master duel lists. Thank you for watching!

Ever since Infernal Rage/Wake Up came out, the 2nd Mist has been less and less important. You really only need to summon her off of wake up/AHL and she does nothing on her own. The deck has a massive engine as it is and the less engine you can get away with the better. Thank you for commenting and watching!
Keeper or crusader? If you decide you want to play cross keeper, you should probably play only 1 because it does nothing on it's own and it's searchable with rota or you can dump it with foolish to draw 2 put 1 back

Man, out of everything in this deck list. The triple Thrust hurts me. Don't get me wrong. I understand why we should run it. Some of us just don't have the money or trades for cards like that.
Luckily I have a deck profile coming out next week that is more "budget" (no thrust) and is still very competitive! It uses the same theory for this list but does not play thrust and plays a different way to beat hand traps that is pretty spicy. I have been playing it at locals and having about the same success as usual (x-0 or x-1). Stay tuned for that!

Why doesnt everyone play 3 E-Call? Isnt it almost as good as Stratos (exzept when you get drolled) and sometimes even More versatile to get liquid or neos etc?
I kinda think it adds more consistency and lets you draw the bricks less often
It's mostly just for deck size. I like E Call but there really isn't anything to cut. I'm already playing a relatively low amount of nonengine. You are right about versatility but it is mostly about space. The deck is already consistent you have a 95%+ chance to open a starter in 5 in 41 cards. Yes you will draw your bricks less often but you will also draw your nonengine less often and I would like to draw a talents every game if possible and playing close to 40 gives me the highest chance to do so.

There's speculation that Hero might receive new support. What cards do you think this archetype needs in order to be meta relevant?
Honestly I am of the unpopular opinion that I don't want a negate. I am hoping for a Snake-eyes Popular esque card that when you add it from your deck to hand it summons itself and on summon adds polymerization specifically. This would make it so you can play through ash/imperm more consistently on your weaker hands and they should make it an E-HERO so it can be searched by emergency call. Hope this gives you some ideas!
@BlakeHERO We do need more gas so that would be a welcome addition. A Hero version Poplar sounds like just a 1 of. Personally I would love a modern field spell that adds a Hero, allow an additional normal summon only on the turn it is activated, and a once per turn destruction protection from Raigeki

Stratos pop, blast bounce, DPE pop, cosmic, and storms + duster for fissure (fissure is actually really easy for us to out and play around). Shifter is shifter and it’s very hard to beat, if they are a shifter deck that special summons you can set up black goat otherwise post side you can grab a normal trap that beats them. Thrust will set it directly from deck so you are playing 4x copies. Some games I get shiftered and just say pass because a lot of the shifter decks brick more or can’t otk. Hope this gives you some ideas!

Only 1 is needed, it takes a little getting used to but very worth it once you are adjusted. Post infernal rage you do not need the additional follow up the 2nd provides plus it does nothing on it's own. I appreciate your comment and please subscribe and share!

I actually go through the 3rd copy of stratos sometimes, you could go this route but I would prefer play the 3 stratos, thank you for watching/commenting

Did you play against Stun or Control or Floo those past 4 locals? Genuine question. Gotta know my most hated matchups
I play against floo at least once a locals. This is what the thrust is for in case you get shiftered! Favorite Contact is very very strong into floo as well. Stun is a dice roll matchup but if we can solidify DPE even going 2nd we have a very good chance against this deck. Sometimes we have enough gas to get through stun, or we can Dark Angel lock them too. Thank you for the question and for watching!
I'm torn between decimater and trinity
I think decimator is much better with only 1 poly. It will come up much more because it does not need a fusion spell to summon itself

I loved magical spring! I unfortunately just don’t own them nor do I have the room to play them anymore because we only have so much nonengine. I do really like the card tho and glad you enjoyed! I always preferred divine wind. It forces them to take care of it by other means if they can't beat over it with the hand or field they have. And I prefer dystopia over dangerous. Dystopia with Sunrise is just so OP. A free pop every turn. Two on yours. I also like Masked hero Acid. Free field wipe with absolute zero. I've tried Masked Hero Koga (I wanted to cover light monsters to switch out) but there are no light heros that really need to dodge anything out. And I just never liked Dread Decimator. Ever. Idk. Maybe I'm missing something.
Also... Why does nobody run malicious bane anymore? That thing is OP.
Edit:now that I'm looking... Dangerous gives more versatility on targets to send to grave and gets easy dumps. I've been doing it wrong.
Blast is better in my opinion because it allows you to trade better into interruptions like another set imperm and is really good into runick fountain. I am also playing dystopia now but you need to be mindful that if you use dystopia pop with sunrise his attack reduces to his original attack and does not go back up for a pop every turn. You must find a new way to boost dystopias attack (dread or honest neos). Dread decimator is because a good amount of the time we have extra bodies but no fusion spell and nothing to do with them. Koga just does not come up enough for me, as well as acid. acid is not needed either because SNW does exactly what you want acid to do and more. Malicious bane is a decent card if you can have it so that you never draw dark calling, but the fact of the matter is at the highest level of play adding another brick into your deck for something your deck already does (destruction field wipes) is just not worth it when it could be more nonengine played. What's your opinion on sauravis in the deck as a anti handtrap card?
We already have built in anti-hand trap protection, I would play the max copies of mask change and if you want more I would play mask change 2 as well. Thank you for the question and comment!

whats the main use of foolish?
i see it in every deck profile but i cant make sense of it.
It can send mali if you have not normal summoned yet to be an extender, it can be a good starter not using your normal summon by sending mist, it can dump your denier to keep you playing. A lot of options and good utility in this card and I believe it is mandatory
Alternative for Black Goat Laughs for Master Duel?
Unfortunately master duel is so different that I really can't give you the best advice. Maxx C warps that format and different card pool. If you want to play this list in master duel I would say daruma karma cannon could be a replacement in the main but I would suggest Jaden BR for master duel lists. Thank you for watching!

Ever since Infernal Rage/Wake Up came out, the 2nd Mist has been less and less important. You really only need to summon her off of wake up/AHL and she does nothing on her own. The deck has a massive engine as it is and the less engine you can get away with the better. Thank you for commenting and watching!

Keeper or crusader? If you decide you want to play cross keeper, you should probably play only 1 because it does nothing on it's own and it's searchable with rota or you can dump it with foolish to draw 2 put 1 back
