Confessa is beautiful and dramatic, but concerning Diva Dance, Dimash surpassed himself at the Bastau concert. And since that segment is so short, I suggest to react to the duet version with Chinese Opera singer Li Yugang as well in the same reaction video, it has a big surprise.

Well first of all, I think you two are absolutely adorable, and I have to admit that I have a crush on Albert, me being a gay man. Hold on to that guy ha ha.
Secondly, I will never get tired of watching reactions to Dimash on your channel, because he is unmatchable. Not only talented, creative and expressive, but he also can project confidence and vulnerability in the same song, yet he remains humble and faithful to his beloved Dears, and close to his family. I imagine it would be very hard for him to have someone special in his life with the practicing and touring schedule that he has and he would have to have someone very self-confident since the marshes up on stage receiving the adoration of thousands and thousands of people every time he performs. I’m not sure if you can have success and romantic happiness at the same time, but I certainly wish it for him.
By the way, I watch other artists on your channel, not just a mosh because I like that you recognize and appreciate the talent of many different types of artists, as well as how you do the reactions without frequent interruptions or voice overs. Keep up the great work!
If I might, I would like to make a request if possible. This singer also possesses one of the most clear and powerful voices and although she has had some main stream success some years back including winning some Grammys, she seems to be overlooked by any of today’s reactors. I think it’s possible that maybe if you did a reaction to her, it could catch on like other “undiscovered artists“. And I personally thank you would like her as well. The song I would have you start with if you choose to, would be Busy Being Blue. I am providing a link. It’s to the studio recording because I could not find a good quality video of her singing it live, but trust me I’ve seen her in concert and she is amazing and there are plenty of other videos of her singing live and she sounds just the same.

KD Lang is hard to put into a category, not unlike Dimash. She is from rural Alberta, Canada and started out doing country western/rockabilly. She then tried going to Nashville to breakthrough in the main stream country western market, but Nashville would have nothing to do with her because she is a lesbian. However someone very important recognized her talent and that was Owen Bradley, who had produced all of the great Patsy Cline‘s albums. He came out of retirement to produce her amazing album shadow land, in which she sings country songs of the past, but giving them her own soulful, moody or uplifting twist. She was embraced by three of the most famous women country western pioneers who joined her for a song, the last one on the album. Those three were kitty wells who was the first female country star, Loretta Lynn and Brenda Lee. There song together is called Honky Tonk Angels and there is a great behind - the-scenes of them recording the song and doing the video. Since Nashville was not accepting (She refused to play the part they expected, she was always her authentic self), she then sort of morphed into a chanteuse, culminating in her album Ingénue, which was not only nominated for best album of the year at the Grammys, but KD won the best female vocal performance Grammy for her song constant craving from that album. Somehow, the next year she was also nominated for best female vocal performance for another song from the same album, called Miss Chatelaine . The video For Miss Chatelaine it’s like no one had ever seen KD before, or since. Another recommendation I will give you is for a very sensual and sexy song/video, called sexuality. Even I as a gay man, was completely mesmerized by her performance in it. I don’t see how anyone couldn’t be. Here is the link:

One song that has been covered by so many different artists is hallelujah, and the version by Pentatonix is of course extremely popular right now on all of the different reactor channels. Many years ago, Katie Lang recorded the song on her CD songs from the 49th parallel (the 49th parallel being The dividing line between the US and Canada. So all of the songs are by Canadian artists, including Leonard Cohen who wrote hallelujah. Her recorded version is brilliant, but since everything else I have provided our studio recordings or music videos, I want you to see her absolutely impassioned, heartbreaking and masterful performance of the song. Before Leonard Cohen passed away in 2016, he was quoted as saying that KD Lang‘s cover of his song was his favorite out of the over 200 artists that had covered it. Probably didn’t hurt that she was a fellow Canadian ha. But after hearing her studio version and seeing her live performance of it, I can’t disagree. This was later in her career, so you’ll notice a pretty dramatic physical appearance change as she gained weight which really made her look puffy, but certainly didn’t impact her voice at all. In addition, she also performed the song at the opening ceremonies of the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. I can’t imagine the pressure of performing for that many people, On the worldwide TV, personally representing your homeland and giving the best performance of you can buy one of Canada’s most famous artists, Leonard Cohen. The other thing I liked about KD Lang is she is a very down to earth, genuine person which really comes across in interviews where she is mischievous, has sly and wicked sense of humor, and loves to interact playfully with whoever is interviewing her. She really seems like someone that would be fun to hang out with (like you guys would be!)
If you get through all of the videos, you will see that KD has many colors in her coloring box. If you enjoy her as an artist, perhaps you might want to react to some of the other songs I have recommended, and just say that they are from other subscribers lol ... or just say hey, we dig her so we’re going to watch some more (if you do indeed dig her).

I read somewhere, that the song in 5th Element movie was actually auto tuned.
To be fair, he doesn't sing the Diva Dance exactly like in the movie, but for him to even be up there with that control is amazing. The Bastau version is even better with an awesome descent and a glissando up. The mixing in this version is a bit bad for his low register.
