I studied in Russia and spent many years in all the former states of the Soviet Union. I have never enjoyed my stay anywhere except in the former USSR. You love or hate Mr. Putin, but he is a charming fellow with an eloquent style. His speeches are not just about the words he uses but also about how he delivers them, his body language, and his ability to connect with the audience. Most politicians have yet to even stand anywhere near him when it comes to speech. I remember one other politician, late PM Indira Gandhi, who used to speak extensively, directly connecting with her audiences. You must be intelligent and well-versed in any language to make actual contact with people. From that perspective, Mr. Putin has secured full marks.

You love or hate Mr. Putin, but he is a charming fellow with an eloquent style. His speeches are not just about the words he uses but also about how he delivers them, his body language, and his ability to connect with the audience. Most politicians have yet to even stand anywhere near him when it comes to speech. I remember one other politician, late PM Indira Gandhi, who used to speak extensively, directly connecting with her audiences. You must be intelligent and well-versed in any language to make actual contact with people. From that perspective, Mr. Putin has secured full marks.
I've been watching speeches by Russian President Putin for many years now. He's highly intelligent and respectful of his audience and members alike.
