    Hello... I want to know, no matter the direction of the wind is comming... those rotor sail move the ship forward???

      No. They cannot move into the wind, any more than a sailing vessel can. Maximum power is available when the wind is at right angles to the ships travel. There is also very little power available when the wind is directly behind the ship.

      ​@@dnomyarnostaw - Assume sailing at right angle to a 15 kn wind (W). Assume the sailing speed is 5 kn (V). Assume a cylinder of height h (3 m), and diameter d (0.5 m), rotating at R RPM (100). What is the formula in metric units T(W, h, d, R, V) where T is the thrust? Thanks.

    imho reduce forwarding resistance could be a good first step: thought, rotating sail energy (a bladed one could be develope) can generate Electric Power for a full elec windy management.
