Great tutorial. Very well done. As for auto-parenting the bones with the artwork, the parenting will happen automatically if you hold ctrl + click when creating the bones.
Jafar, thank you again for a good tutorial, can I ask why your knee joints seem to pop/click when walking, I've had the same issue and wondered why and how to eliminate it?
Your step-by-step breakdown, especially the automation through the walk cycle tool, simplifies a complex process. Now, for a fun twist, what's the most unexpected challenge you've encountered while rigging a character, and how did you creatively solve it?
Thankful Honestly, rigging can always surprise you in the face of problems, but one of the issues that had been bothering me for a long time was how to rig different views of a character that can be controlled with only one skeleton. And by research and trial and error, I was able to solve it, which I included the complete training in the Full Character Rigging course. ruclips.net/video/-XB7pFdYWVA/видео.html
@@JafarFazel The fact that you've not only solved the issue but also shared your knowledge through the Full Character Rigging course is incredibly valuable.
This video is enjoyable to watch! Thanks Jafar for helping the motion designers learn new techniques in Motion Graphics, Character Rigging, and Animation in After Effects.
I have a questions and would be very happy if you could answer them. After I completed the full skeleton for my character (with joints properly processed), I proceeded to 'auto rig' the bone layers. However, the result showed that some layers were hidden or locked, and those layers were marked in red. Some other parts still work normally. I think there may be an error somewhere in the process. The most obvious sign is that when making the character run or walk by this tool, only one leg remains stationary while the other parts function normally. "Have a nice day!"
Hi Jafar, how can I make the arms stop moving? I want to animate a character that holds a pile of papier in its hands while walking. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
Hi Select the "walk cycle" controller layer, in the "Arms" section, set the "Arm swing" to zero. then enable the IK of the hand and then animate it as you want.
@@JafarFazel you see this guys happens to ask this question even if you put everything in your video. At this point am sure you ask your self why this happens but I tell you what it is because you twist things a litle bit, we shouldnt get to know everything here at once, just make separate videos sir. Am sorry if I sound mean.
Great, sir could you pls make a video on sollution of following problems : 1. Character legs (knee) jerk while walking or running while using a duik. 2. Is there any way to setup a character joints (arms and legs) to stretch ( in duik bassel ) ...Thankyou sir.
Knee jerk/popping in an IK Rig is typically a result of the Leg's IK Controller being stretched too far at the point of leg extension, during a walk cycle. A simple solution would be to select the Root IK Controller (the Skeleton Head and Torso-combo icon, which can be seen in blue on top of the orange shirt at: ruclips.net/video/66ytktbd7BE/видео.html). Then move that bone controller a little lower at each frame where the Leg/Knee becomes fully straightened/extended. There should be a slight bend at the knee whenever the leg is either extended or standing at rest. The joints in an IK Rig should almost never be fully straightened, otherwise popping will occur during movement. What's being presented is an "Auto-Rig/Animation"-type feature, so small issues like this are to be expected.
I see all character parts are clean shape layers, still you have fixed textures like gradients and noice etc stuck on them, I cant figure out how you didi that. If anyone can tell me I'd be happy. Thank you.

A short question, but the answer is as long as a long training course.

at 14:02 I cannot shy the bone layers. what should I do ?
You must first activate the Shy option, then shy the layers, pay attention to the blue option above the timeline in the side of the search bar.
