SSN and Ghetsis fighting for the wackiest unit of this update.
The 1/5 Cheren on the table:
@@flaregamer64 lol.
They just gave him some Sandstorm stuff and forgot he’s supposed to be a Support and not just an ok-ish tank.
@@flaregamer64 Updated Ghetsis: "Cool, cool, they basically completed the unit, but he's still not meta."
Glacia update: "They made her the unit she really should have been to begin with. No longer the worst 5* in the game!"
Cheren update: "They updated Cheren?:
Anni Steven "update," whose move animation is now less clunky:
Hugh
@@mattf7366 Hugh has more of a "gambling" theme to his set than any pair involving Grimsley lol
Unless you count it as gambling to build a team using Liepard as your dark type attacker, idk
Man wish they’d utilize the bingo missions more🥺
Poce with glasses hits different
I feel like I'd rather use Girafarig. Speed Boost, special defense down and attack down in one move growl on the whole team guaranteed.
The main issue becomes the special attack and speed debuffs. I think technically Primarina could work with trip up 4 on sparkling aura
Hydaegon can also Debuff Speed on it’s grid (Trip up 7 combined with Double Drop).
It works surprisingly well.
Maybe even BP Elesa could work. She has Sp. Def buffs and Electroweb Trip Up 4, which is much more gauge efficient than Sparkling Aria
@@VenkataB123 yeah the main issue that I was trying to figure out is how to get Girafarig and Kyurem on the same team as the support, and I thought about electroweb on as well the only downside is no special attack buffs
It’s better if ghetsis isn’t the one nuking. If you need an ice nuke, I’d ex Candice. She has an easier setup and better sync damage
SS N, Ghetsis and Cheren really are the Spiderman meme for the weakest unit this month
This is draaaastically overestimating Cheren. There's "underwhelming Poké Fair" and then there's "worse than many eggmons".
@@JazzLafayettebut Paulo said he was strong XD I hope one day he'll be released as a joke unit
@@danio5869 well Paulo is good.
😡 still pissed because of my 3 Multies
Ghetsis expansion grid just easier usage
Multiple things don't work for him
- Special attack buffs
- speed debuffs are so rare in game
- needs special attack debuffs for overpower and physical attack debuffs for pecking order
- need paralysis for glaciate damage
You need paralysis for Glaciate? I don't do that and it hits just fine, especially since Kyurem is more reliant on sync nuking rather than glaciate damage, has been since it launched. Thus I personally prefer to use the freeze node, gives you more turns. Although another reason it should've gotten Black Kyurem upgrade instead of being a seperate unit, give freeze shock a node to guarantee paralyze then the Paralysis Synergy.
Also why is speed debuffs being rare in the game not work for him? If anything isn't that a bonus? Especially with Hunters Intinct as a Passive?
... ehhh wish they'd done more, at the very least hail immunity and either hail damage boosting nodes or WW3, they're just doing all the Kyurems dirty, should've just had Ghetsis summon a Zekrom from another world after stealing Hoopa and given it a Black Kyurem upgrade instead of making it a separate unit that's... just underwhelming and disappointing.
I also would've given it fusion bolt or dragon rush personally, fusion bolt and flare are also these dragons signature moves as much as Blue Flare, Bolt Strike, Freeze Shock, Ice Burn, and Glaciate, yet Zekrom, Reshiram, and Black Kyurem don't have it? It's criminal, especially since you get power boosts when using fusion flare and bolt together, the 2nd one to attack specifically, all about the bonds of people and Pokemon, those moves or the pledges are good representation of this ideology.
Then it's 2/3s of the One Dragon... why no dragon move? Zekrom and regular Kyurem have Outrage and dragon breath, no reason Dragon Rush or Outrage can't be on Black Kyurem especially in an era where off typing is a thing, having multiple ways to combat opponents is necessary. As a gen 5 fan just all this is a mess and disappointing, for one of the games that is arguably the best (depending on who you ask either gen 2, 4, or 5... or genwunners that stopped the series after gen 1).
Sorry Poce don't mean to be a negative Nancy, it's just... sad, disappointing, especially when the other 4 have sky rocketed with viability to become some of the strongest units in the game, and we all know Xerneas and Zamazenta will get good just from having their EX unlocked, not much you can do to ruin them, nowhere to go but up (misty terrain/fairy zone and steel zooone?... doubtful but would be neat, especially since they can't get form changes, and no hope for Zamazenta to get dynamax added... maybe Tera?). Solgaleo... mmmmm needs a lot of work, and be interesting to see, since none of our other MCs have gotten an EX, not even our Pikachu, wonder how that will be handled, if we're lucky that means we will start seeing EXes for us, Regirock, maybe FIIIINALLY evolving our Torchic (hopefully all the way to a Mega Blaziken), maybe even our Eggmon, heck just for customization seeing our character in different outfits would be neat.
My man looking fresh. New haircut? You lost some weight maybe? new glasses too? Something different fo sure
Sad :(
Humm
Ya, it could've been worse: they could've focused two whole tiles solely on his Dragon dps like they did w/ Cyrus, lol. I can imagine Dragon Breath doing twice as much as Glaciate (split across 3 foes), and I still wouldn't be impressed. Really relieved they settled on just buffing his set up and gauge problems instead.
Just like w/ my Cyrus, I'm not wasting my time EX'ing him (just keeping the 50 spirits in my bag for collection purposes, lol). I can't really appreciate the bland EX colors or bland EX pose, and there are approx forty or so EX Supports that are better to Sync w/.
Except Cyrus made sense to focus on Dragon type damage, seeing as that’s his primary type.
It was confusing from the beginning why it’s strongest attack wasn’t Spacial Rend. And even when it got it’s original grid, they boosted Hydro Pump even more.
So ur just being contrarian for the heck of it
There is no reason not to EX him considering you change fucking nothing and there is no opportunity cost bc his legendary spirit belongs only to him. Hate his color? Stick with the default color. First world problem there bro, or trying too hard to prove your non existend point.
This is just a worse version of Ho-oh’s expansion. It also got QOL improvements, but they were more substantial, and he also got a 90% boost on his sync.
He's probably be too broken if they gave him something like Furious Brawn. Probably why they made him easier to use rather than make him stronger.
@@VenkataB123 it would be furious brain, and no was asking for that. Even one multiplier on either damage or sync would have helped or more consistent freezes. It could have even been another debuff or a hail multiplier
