KHKS Kiss-FM Dallas Kidd Kraddick 1993 California Aircheck Video

Kidd Kraddick joined Kiss 106.1 KHKS in Dallas from the morning show at KEGL. This video is from very early in his KHKS days (early 1993), before Kelli Rasberry joined as his partner. I could watch these old videos/listen to the old sound bites of kidd all day long… he was so much a part of my adolescence and early adulthood. After he died my mom said to me “I don’t understand why this is such a big deal to you… you never met the guy”. Hard to explain to anyone what a significant role he played in my life (and the lives of so many others that he also never met). We laughed with kidd and cried with Kidd. We got his inside jokes. He was a constant in my life while so many things were changing. Yes mom… it is a big deal that kidd died. It is still one of the biggest losses I’ve experienced.
