So default e sounds like double oo in English (e.g foot).
E at the end of a word without an accent goes into stealth mode.
E in a consonant sandwich sounds like ee in English (e.g. feet).
E with a rising accent mark sounds like eh in English (e.g. get).
E with a falling accent mark sounds like ah in English (e.g. Father).
The French E is more customizable than a '63 Impala.
