Is My Bag Crooked!! Chanel Flap Quality Issues?

- Let's talk about the comments I got from my last video, on the quality of my Chanel Bag. This was my first Chanel Bag I bought, and for it to already have a problem I'm super heartbroken. Let me know what you would do in my shoes if this happened to you?

As a standard practice, I always inspect the bag before leaving the store for this reason.

It did seem a little lower on one side in the first video, but as soon as you put your things in it and wore it it looked ok, so must have been a little flattened from being in the box. Please don't fret and feel sad. Honestly, it's a beautiful special bag to you and looks perfect, just enjoy it. Did you ever get the gift from Chanel and what was it?
Ur bag looks fine to me. It’s supposed to have a slight curve on both ends of the flap. It doesn’t go straight across. Chanel quality does goes down lately. My SA would let me pick the bag if she knows that they have a few in stock. Sometimes the leather and shape of the bag is different between each bag. I would examine each one to see if there’s any flaws on the leather or shape before buying. The return policy is 15days of purchase and it shouldn’t be worn. I believe if u didn’t tell her that u wore it then u could’ve return it. I think ur SA did a good job. Don’t worry too much about the bag and enjoy wearing it. It’s a gorgeous bag.

I do actually think it looks a bit crooked... Yeah, unfortunately Chanel's quality has been really poor in recent years & the prices keep going up. Because of this, I actually would NOT buy from the boutique any more. And I would have definitely returned that bag. Also, unfortunately the bag does not hold its value very well either... I know it's very sad... I guess all you can do is accept it and try to enjoy it as much as possible. It is true though, that this could happen with any brand & you always have to check it properly & return it if it is not up to standard. I personally really enjoy Saint Laurent and Givenchy in recent years, especially in the resale market, you can find excellent priced bags with amazing quality! If you really want Chanel, I would go with the vintage ones! 💛
It honestly looks fine and barely noticeable. Please enjoy your bag. Some of mine have become crooked over time and much more noticeable than yours.
Congratulations on your new bag I also got this one for my birthday and it’s also my 1st Chanel. I think it looks fine Ive paused the video and had a look and even looked at mine yours looks the same as mine. I’ve not had a chance to wear mine yet. I feel your disappointment when you feel somethings not right, I get like this too I’m super particular when it comes to stitching, patterns etc. hopefully you can enjoy your purchase x

Your bag looks okay to me. I’ve watched your original unboxing and it doesn’t look crooked here. As in the your other video it was noticeable. What I’ve noticed with Chanel flap bags is that most of them are a bit crooked. I’ve noticed it with my medium classic flap too. I think it was because of the way I was storing it. After stuffing it for a while it’s fine now. You should accept the gift since they offered to send it to you.
