What i really love about Aric is that he can destinguish between chops vs simple fills etc. He plays in a lot of different projects playing different types of music. His style always suits the music. Brilliant!

I was hoping this video would make its way to your channel one day. Ever since I stumbled upon it myself, I’ve been following Aric closely and it didn’t take long for him to become one of my favorite drummers. His talent is just off the charts and it’s mind-blowing to watch every time.
Man, I'm always saying do more Aric Improta and now you have. The best thing is you seeing the talent the worst thing is now having to wait for the next 1. Cheers though.
I just saw fever 333 last night and let me tell you I was amazed at how great he was he did a mini drum solo in the middle of a song had triggers going xylophone he was amazing he was the best drummer out of all the bands there talking killswitch engage slipknot code orange he really impressed me
Also, their entire last album was purely instrumental, you'd be surprised at how much is him. He has a plethora of amazing content, heavily suggest you dig into more of his stuff, he certainly is thinking outside the box despite how liberally that claims gets thrown around
I think the heads are some standard issue evans or remos, but he draws on them himself if I am not mistaken. pretty cool I find, just a birch to replicate if you break your heads or wear em down... maybe it is also layered, so they are not on the top but rather beyond? idk.

My only issue with this type of drumming is it is sooooo busy and all fast chops. It's great stuff, but acoustically very taxing after awhile.

Two words-Mike Mangini. This guy is not even close.
Mangini has the artillery but no smooth style like Aric.
TIME TO REVISIT NIGHT VERSES. NEW ALBUM IS EVEN BETTER THAN THIS.
