      Popeye on one side and Ochoa brothers on the other side are different stuff. Popeye was a cold blood hitman, just a highly paid employee of Pablo Escobar, while Ochoa brothers created the foundation onto which Pablo Escobar built that narco-trafficking empire, Cartel de Medellin. Ochoa were billionaires and there's no proof they did themselves or ordered directly any killings. They had just bodyguards but no hitmen. The dirty job was done by Pablo and his hitmen.

    Why is he not arrested in Colombia like the Mexican drug lords when they get deported

    • @jedidaforce2595
      @jedidaforce2595 13 дней назад

      Because the Colombian government appreciates all the money their drug lords bring into their country. Mexico isn’t much better. They might arrest some drug lords, but then they let them escape the prison/jail a few weeks later… or they’ll make an arrest to appease the U.S. government so they can continue to get that yearly aid package of billions of dollars and military equipment to fight the cartels, but then they’ll release the cartel members as soon as the cartel foot soldiers start firing off rounds at the Mexican military or police, so it gives their government a free pass. They play both sides. As long as the cartel bosses don’t do anything to embarrass the Mexican government, the government will protect them. El Chapo is sitting in a U.S. prison cell right now only because he embarrassed their government to the world by doing that interview with Sean Penn. Him escaping from prison was a bad look, but the government could at least blame that on the prison. The Sean Penn interview was El Chapo saying, “yeah, I escaped from prison and there ain’t sh!t the government can do to me about it.” It was time for him to go after that.
