Thank god he is okay . God bless him and his family
As a healthcare worker, I appreciate him saying to be patient with staff. It is hard to see the polar opposites that are merely steps away from each other.
Thank you! Your heroes!!
Yes, thank you for all you are doing!
God bless and protect you!
Thank you.
God bless you for you’re life on the line and all you do please be careful
He's Got a great attitude. Glad he made it!

Keep praying for those who are on the front line

@@donaldmacdonald9940 I saw that testimony. It was great.
It’s so true...health is wealth👍👍👍
Here let me spread some hope. I already was in respiratory failure and need a liver transplant. The virus hit me like a tons of bricks. I had underlying bronchitis too. Go to hospital stay 5 days, go home, get sicker, ship to Denver, stay 11 days, come home, go back to hospital 2 weeks later. Go home. I'm on 10L O2 at home. I had Covid pneumonia. So what you say, I'M ALIVE!!! I never ever considered dying.
Diana, my mom is currently hospitalized with COVID pneumonia . She's been in almost a week and is currently on a C-pap machine 24/7, not eating or drinking due to her low oxygen levels if the mask comes off. Did you have to be intubated, and if so, what did that look like for you? I'm so happy you're okay!
He has such a wonderful spirit!! Such a nice man
lol
SmutnaJules007 rychwalska lol? What is wrong with you?
@@Me-ru6cl Oh, wait, you must be that type of person who, if someone's opinion is different that YOURS, then there must be something wrong with that other person. Strange place to be in a COMMENT section, with that attitude, Have a nice day!
SmutnaJules007 rychwalska he was extremely sick and came back and you comment is lol?Lol is an opinion? And you don’t know me...plus look at yourself before judging others
@@Me-ru6cl YOU attacked my words, and judged ME, just remember that. Btw you act like an immature teenager. Have a nice Life!
This guy has a very positive view on life, I like him.
What a genuinely nice guy. So glad he made it!
bs
Antoinette Pontes I’m happy for him too
I have friends who have been recently moved from their in home nursing care to nursing home care, because they're families either don't want to be caretakers of them anymore, or , they need to sell the victims home to pay sky high bills that accrued, or, they have their own lives to take care of.
I'm laughing at these people who got vaccinated and I didn't ,
Because they don't have jobs that they did have, they can't take care of themselves like they did, and I can come and go and do as I please and they can't.
I like reminding them of what they did, to show them what they did to where they are.
I came across this video when my mother is in ICU. She is battling from past 5 days from COVID, this gives us lots of hopes. We all are waiting for a miracle to happen, health care workers are the miracle. I thank Healthcare workers who are the heroes. I always believe good things will happen to good people, thanks for sharing this video and best wishes to survivor. We need these kind of videos , all we hear is bad news these days.
How is your mother now? My mom was hospitalized last Saturday and she's not doing well with the breathing machines, wondering if we should intubate now or give it another day... I sincerely hope your mom is okay.
For all those who are on the coronavirus front line working doctors and nurses the police and soldiers may God bless you all for the wonderful work you guys are doing well done, I pray that God protect you and your family's all so.🙏💐💐🏆🏆🏆🇯🇲
Raheem Brown , the same to you.
Amen 🙏🏻
Indeed Amen 🙏🏻😭
This guy is so lucky!!!
Eloquent. Well said. Touching. Thank God you recovered.
Glad you’re doing better!. Gods healing is so powerful.
And here's me thinking it was the medical staff!
ekim andersom 🖕🏿
Careful - if you take that line then god is also responsible for the virus that has killed thousands
Glory To GOD!!!
@ekim andersom by the Grace of God the doctors could help him, praise God 🙏
My best friend’s son, my godson, was admitted with symptoms of COVID. Tests confirmed later he had COVID. Hospitalized 3 weeks, 2 weeks ICU, 11 days on ventilator. His released from the hospital in Coatesville PA was applauded and filmed. He is the first survivor of COVID at that hospital. I’m glad this gentleman in this video survived. However, it’s not to be taken for granted that one will survive COVID. Many are dead, slipped away. At any moment this man could have slipped away. There can also be serious health problems for survivors. There were many residual effects from the Spanish Flu 1918. Among those effects were encephalitis and Parkinson’s disease. The encephalitis consequence was highlighted in the movie “Awakenings” with Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams. These symptoms could be seen from months to years later after surviving this infectious disease. There may be long-term disability resulting from COVID. I’m glad this man is doing well but COVID should not be taken lightly just because someone survives.
Thank you, though only 40 rational people have agreed, I make 41.
Totally agree.
Lucky. In our country. The hospitals arent properly equipped enough with ventilators. Basically they have like 10 beds with ventilators and if you're the 11th patient you're basically dead.
@@dodgek5270 Doctors here are afraid that situation will happen to certain States now.
KL T My friend’s son experienced cardiac arrest less than a month after getting out of the hospital. He is now in a vegetative state and on a ventilator again. I’m afraid what will happen when kids are sent back to schools and back onto school buses.
My beloved husband is at the ICU at the moment and is on mechanical ventilation. This interview really helped me to cope with what I’m experiencing right now. The most difficult part of all these is that he got Covid while he’s still working in a foreign country. So, here I am, worried and confused, don’t know what to do. I cannot even visit him, because of lockdown, I cannot travel. All I can do is be positive and pray.....😪
How is he now ?
@@sukhweetkaur He’s back home now since the 7th of July and is now in the rehab. He had a massive stroke. So, it’ll be a long road to recovery, but I’m hopeful and positive that he’ll make it. He made it this far and he’s still keep on fighting. God is good!
Seems like a great guy. Glad he's better.
I don’t know him. But my first impression is overly confident. He didn’t call his doctor first before demanding for test? He risked others’ lives. Same with the restroom across his room. He could have exposed others. I agree with you - I’m glad he’s recovered.
God bless u and your family, we need stories like yours to remind us that people do recover..thank u b safe
We don,t know if the harm will be.permanent.
So GLAD you can continue your life with your family & loves one. ..Bless you & YOURS!
From Southern Cal. Thanks to God, my husband just came off the ventilator yesterday after 10 days of Remdesivir. He remembers us, our 3 kids and our dog's name! Now he's anxious to go home, that's all he talks about. This is a very encouraging interview. It was a very scary time for me, a helpless wife seeing him picked up by the ambulance and couldn't be his side all that time. I totally agree about the medical staff; the nurses, the doctors are all amazing people; I'm very grateful for them.
praying for you and your family! my dad is currently intubated at the hospital, hope he recovers just as well as your husband ♡
@@theiead Thank you, hope your father can recover too.

All I can tell the people is that may sister passed a week ago and I give my life for her the pain is killing me not having her she just 47
Larry Williams, sorry for your loss. I lost my Aunt to this COVID as well, and the pain is overwhelming. The worst part is she had to be alone in the hospital for 5 weeks, and died without being able to see anyone in the family.
@@natrlgrl think you I'm sorry for your loss to I know you just like me think she going get out of there and thinking of her just being in that bed for so long just to get a call to say she passed I did get to see my sister a week before but we got to keep going to keep the names alive

Thank you from London Uk, for your frank and sincere experience and reminder to be kind to all around us. God bless you and your family.
Thank you for all the information about your recovery process, that's really valuable for us to know! Also, wonderful listening interviewer, not making this interview about herself, very skillful!
What a great interview . Thank you for sharing what is needed desperately. The thoughts you gave about trying to help the caretakers who are working so compassionately is so appropriate and important . They are so vulnerable and will continue to be long after this is over. Hope you and your family have a peaceful ,healthy life . Thank you for sharing .

How many people did he infect? At flight, airport, driver, family, friends.
Because they didn’t test earlier. A whole week before they tested him.
He’s kind and grateful and compassionate.
I’m glad he survived it.
missfloflowers he got it pretty early. We in this country really had no idea how bad this was at that time
So glad you are alright 🙏
Welcome back!!! Thank you for your testimony because people just like to know what to expect and that way they can keep a trained eye out for it and it takes the exact knowledge that you are sharing from your experience. Thank you again and I will be praying for you and yours to stay healthy and strong. May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms
God Bless you and your family. Thank God you are here to tell the story.
What a great video! A positive way to look at this coronavirus!
A few self help tips we can all do at home are :
1. Deep, controlled breathing (search YT for "Breathing Techniques").
2. High strength Vit D. Scientifically proven to bolster the respiratory immune system.
3. Remove shoes when entering your home.
4. Wash hands thoroughly (sing Happy Birthday twice), including your nails!
5. Wear a mask when outside (better safe than sorry 😊)
Much love to the world from the UK 💗💗💗
Excellent advice. I would add, find something or someone to make you laugh.
@@steeltowngirl4626 Absolutely, 😊😊
Thank you. I am terrified because my grandmother, who I care for, has been sick with pneumonia and yesterday her nurse (visits her weekly) just tested positive. I haven't been wearing a mask. I am really scared! She had her test today....but she doesn't know. She has no respiratory issues, but she has body aches , fatigue, headache, and pneumonia
@@MsLi-ef1xp why don't you get tested?
How are you disposing of your mask ?
This guy should go into politics! He seems sensible and sane and knows just what to say to make these times seem a little less scary! A rare ability in The United States right now!
Oh no, not again
Totaly agree! He took a very scary & possibly deadly event and added some comedy to lighten the mood. And some words of first hand wisdom to walk us all through this entire process of not only the getting sick part but the recovery after. He is a very inspiring human for sure!! Also the point of using music to sharpen his memory..that's great!! Not to add a grim note here but it seems he got top of the line care I only 🙏 the poverty stricken people in big cities get care just as great as he did! I'm 🙏 for everyone today! May God watch over and bless us all!!
he can't be a democrat he's not a nut
Awesomeness! ❤ Glad he recovered.
Did anyone notify the passengers on his plane back home? They'll need to get the passenger list, pilots and crew to test them too!

Thank you! My dad is almost off a ventilator. I learned a lot of what to expect from your story.
I’m so glad you are better Chris
wow... Amazing.. Such a lovely guy... Glad he made it through
The only odd thing about this interview is that SF isn’t a hotbed, they just shut down early to flatten curve and it worked. We’ve had so little death here compared to everywhere else. My roommate is an RN and our hospitals are empty. Glad he’s safe thank God.
So true...why not?
But where was he before the conference? It was 10 to 14 days before that he could have been exposed. Connecticut started showing just after him, didn’t they?
The protesters need to watch this guy's interview and stop acting like spoiled brats.
The police should give the protesters a big fine on sight. They are guilty of spreading the virus. I edited this because my first post was inappropriate.
@@andrewheffel3565 You are very wrong you are to wear a mask if you are sick so you don't get others sick. Proven fact you touch your face more with a mask then with out one. If they had that virus after all of the time already spent at home they would not be walking they would be to sick to. Use your brain and stop watching fake news. Yes this man battle was real. How ever the numbers do not support the fear mongering you all are buying into. also remember this man was on a plane with how many other people how many did he infect that will spread it all over this country? So don't blame the protestors if they were sick they wouldn't be able to walk to protest.
@@spoffy100 People are infectious days before they have symptions. They need to wear the mask.

They were promised they would be healthy (they aren't)
They were promised nothing would go wrong (it did)
I was promised the same thing....
I didn't get vaccinated
I'm able to take care of myself.
