Had I won two more fights , I would be dead. Naked truths.. I once touched gloves with referee cause i thought he was other boxer when i came out. I quickly told him, it was respect.. He let me slide. He knew. Boxing made me calm in times of stress. I lived 50 years in two years as a boxer. Believe me , there are no losers in the ring. Outside , now that is a whole new kettle of fish. My wife never once congratulated me after a win. And she nursed me for a longer period of time, than I was in the ring. I had to make pretend nothing hurt , so i would not get knocked out with an " I told you so ". lol us men know , it does not have to be said... we see it. Thank you all for letting me purge.
Glad Emanuel Augustus was on here. One of my favorite fighters. His fight with micky ward was epic. He was admittedly Mayweathers toughest opponent. Dude was a master of his craft and walked around ready to fight. Deserved more credit than he got. Definitely was never paid what he was worth
