Are there two versions of Atomic Splits? 'Smoke on the water' and the 'power rails' Their website only shows one split fin. Maybe they completely transitioned to this version...or I'm misunderstanding something?
I own the Smoke color Atomic split fin which has the spring straps, and they are very nice fins and I like them a lot. It cost $259 US dollars, but living here in Hawaii I use them a lot so I was OK with that. There is just one problem; the plastic pin that holds the spring into the buckle broke. Now it should be an easy fix to replace the pin, which should cost less than a dollar. Now that would be fair and I would even pay more for it, but Atomic Aquatics will not sell that part. They told me to buy a new set of spring straps which is $70 US dollars or about what you might pay for the average pair of new fins. I have always believed that good service after the sale of any product is a sign of a good company. I am not paying for a new set of fin straps from Atomic. I will buy some Delrin rod and try to fabricate a new pin to fix my fins. If this does not work I am buying some Scubapro fins. Scr*w Atomic Aquatics.
Why Kazakhstan missing in a list of delivering countries in you site?
Is there a difference in materials used in the blade between the "Smoke on Water" Fins and the other colourd fins? Or is it just the footstrap?
