- The latest Sport bike from Suzuki India's stable..The Gixxer SF250 is not a pure dedicated Sport Bike. It can be called a Sports tourer, judging from the placement of the foot controls, seat and handlebar relations..it's an all rounder with good enough power unit with a unique oil cooling system which Suzuki have perfected as they were the pioneer of oil cooling system way back in the 80"s.
The crowning glory of the SF250 is the chassis and suspensions unit.
Most bike we get here in India leans towards the commuter segment, and this almost always leads to a soft commuter bias suspensions. In the SF250 Suzuki have taken a bold leap by making the suspensions stiff enough to cater to the Sport riding riders, but not too stiff as to hamper touring and street commuting. Coupled with a capable chassis with a sporty geometry..we think Suzuki have hit a jackpot in the handling area of the SF250.
With 300mm disc at the front and a disc at the back, added with dual channel ABS, the riders are in good hands, although the initial bite of the front brake is slightly lacking, but the ABS is not too instrusive even for an avid Sport rider..So we are quite happy with the whole braking package. Although an ABS turn off switch will make it the ultimate package.
We've encountered a high frequency vibration from the engine at really high engine speed. But nothing at lower engine rpm..weather this will be a problem for you or not..you be the judge..
Styling is debatable, but we like the styling enough, as it is slightly different from what"s available in the market.
Conclusion..It's the best handling 250 readily available in the market, at least the ones we have tested..maybe not the fastest.
and with a price tag of a little less than 1.9 Lakh on road..its a great buy. Авто/Мото

Superb riding! Beautiful scenery. The northeast is blessed with superb landscapes. Went to Sikkim for a week and just did not want to go back home. I would love to upgrade to this from a classic 350 coz I need a mix of good fuel economy, cruising speed above 100. Your video has inspired me to consider this bike. Beautiful video, amazing curves and really good cornering skills! Kinda wish I waited 6 months and got myself a SF 250 instead of the 150 but the 150 hasn't let me down yet. So no worries.
The new 150 is also a good bike. With revised suspensions, eventhough it gained a little weight the handling still much better than the older version.
And we feel it's got slightly better pick up
I bought the SF 2018 version. Not the updated 2019 version.
One with the Single channel ABS and dual discs.

I would suggest going to the tracks, if there is any near you. Ask other riders to teach you. Or you can go to North East India where there are many curves where you can practice and perfect your cornerings

The Gixxer has power advantage.. the D250 makes most of it's power at a higher engine rpm, which can be a disadvantage in our kind of road. But, end of the day.. the choice will boil down to personal preference and most will choose the bike for styling and looks.
You are awesome rider buddy but i have one doubt which bike I should buy r15m or Gixxer sf 250 which is a overall package and which will not disappoint bcz many people's are saying go for r15m bcz it's equipped with latest looks features and mileage also but what about Gixxer sf if comparing with r15m
Both are good bikes.. if corner curving is the most important point for you.. then.. there's no bike better tan the R15V4. But, comfort, power and a reasonable cornering capabilities is of greater importance to you.. Gixxer Sf250 is the best option.

Hi bro...my sf250 has clocked 7k odo, recently facing an strange issue. when applying hard fornt brake on pot holes,bumps hearing "tak" sound from fork.
have checked the front tyre pressure was kept to 28/29 psi. so i checked in bike off applied front brake and conmpressing back and forth the suspension and when going hard i could constantly hear that "tak" sound each heavy compression. the disk pads life are half way through. This comes only when brakes applied, tried to load front compression without brakes as much as possible and didnt get that sound. also no wobbling while running and no shakes or movements on fork either, please could you check in your bikes and any idea what would be the problem.
Arrey that tak tak sound was ABS don't worry your bike is absolutely fine and sexy.

Duke 250 is 35K costlier than SF250 which is 45K more than FZ25.. All on road.. If you have extra money go for the costlier ones.. Otherwise the cheapest FZ25 is excellent value and very capable.. I own the new FZ25 ABS and I'm very happy..

bro how long (kms) can we ride this bike before giving a 15min break for engine heat to cool ? (like cruising at 6-7k rpm)
We have ridden continuously for more than 1 hour at high speeds, and we haven't encountered any heating problems whatsoever.

Hi, The stock tyres will be ok for 90% of the riders. But, if you want to push the pace a little bit more... better upgrade to better ones. Otherwise it's good enough.

Do you feel any vibrations when you go above 7k rpm?
High pitch vibration occurs at really high rpm. Otherwise it's not bothersome at all.
I think gixer sf 250 looks pure japanese type bike.. in my opinion it looks sexy
