- This is to share the the first survival /rambo style knives I had as a kid in the 80s and some of the knives I have now.
Follow your dreams because life is short and you live only once.

I thought I was a total badass with my awesome Buck 110 back in the early 80’s .
And then - my life changed forever after seeing First Blood .
WOW !!
I knew I had to have that gorgeous piece of steel !!
Then later - the passion increased .
The sickness began .
I am still and will always be so grateful to you and Jane for sending me out the Bluneri LSS1 .
I am over the moon !!!
My collection just was not complete until I received that .
I almost bought it a few times over the years off eBay but something wasn’t right .
The specs were off .
So the only way to achieve the Commando movie knife dream was to have custom made .
That dream finally came true .

Hello again brother. Nice collection. I had a couple of those cheap Rambo knives when I was younger also. I bought my first one right after I saw first blood at the theater. My first one fell apart after I put it through some tough work in the woods. Movies like Rambo and Conan and Commando started my love of knives also even some older westerns made me love knives. My wife says I own to many knives and I tell her there is no such thing as to many knives. I am so happy I live in a state where there are few restrictions on knives. I carry a fixed blade and a couple folders as part of my EDC. I pray your daughter is still doing well. Talk to you later brother.

Yeah these movies shaped my life in a big way. I loved Rocky a lot too and now I run a boxing gym haha.

G’day Brother did that 1980’s Rambo small bladed knife have the black paint on the blade when they first came out, I remember as a kid having the first survival knife ( as we all did ) but a friend of mine had the second one you have shown us, we as kids were all jealous of the knife he had as it seemed an upgrade of what we had, plus it had the word Rambo on the blade 👍🏻🇦🇺

I've had a few variations when I was a kid including one or two with black blades.
