X-men ‘97 deserves a CHEF’S KISS 👩🍳💋 The quality of voice acting, animation, storytelling, characterization is astounding. Next to Fallout it’s my current fav show of the year
that and the fact that at the beginning of the show it would play heavily into the romantic view many have on japanese traditions, but as the show goes on we see the dark side of many traditions i'm not going to spoiler so i'm not making any examples and i hope no one else does
One of the best first seasons of any show I've ever seen. Even as someone who'd never played the games before and knew virtually nothing about the lore, it was absolutely sublime
Glad to say I've completed 6 of these entries. Shogun Masters of the Air Mr & Mrs Smith Xmen Fallout 3 Body Problem All great shows in their own right. I'd add Reacher Season 2.
1) X-Men'97 2) Shogun 3) Fallout X-Men'97 has to be the biggest surprise hit of 2024. Absolutely phenomenal. 10/10🔥 They need to bring Beau Demayo back.
My Top 10 Favorite Tv Shows of 2024 (so far) are 1-Ted 2-Baby Reindeer 3-Under the Bridge 4-X-Men 97 5-Fallout 6-The Brothers Sun 7-Shogun 8-Knuckles 9-Mr & Mrs. Smith 10-Griselda still got more I got to watch!
Baby Reindeer though it’s a miniseries but it still counts. I can't imagine the PTSD episodes Richard Gadd had during the writing process, let alone the shooting process.
I haven't seen most of the shows on this list yet but I can very much recommend Fallout and 3 Body Problem! Both were captivating and binge-worthy. I'll be watching Shogun next!

Dinosaur (Hulu) deserves to be on this list as it is the first show about an autistic character to be produced by, written by, and starring an autistic person, making it the most accurate piece of media about autism.
No 2️⃣ I hope that if "Avengers: Secret Wars" possibly soft reboots the overall MCU I hope that new MCU soft reboot takes heavy inspiration from this show, "The Spectacular Spider-Man," "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," and "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" much similarly like how Peter Safran and James Gunn's DC Universe will be heavily inspired by the in-continuity projects of the DC Animated Universe [AKA DCAU], and of course, the show: "Young Justice"
The Walking Dead: The Ones who live was surprisingly better than half of this list. Shogun is one of many shows that prove that FX is every bit as good as HBO and AMC.

The quality of voice acting, animation, storytelling, characterization is astounding. Next to Fallout it’s my current fav show of the year
Loved X-Men '97 and Fallout! True Detective was good too... Gotta watch the rest.
Hiroyuki Sanada is the reason why Shogun is the best this year. He made this as authentic as possible. Completely crushing that 80s series.
that and the fact that at the beginning of the show it would play heavily into the romantic view many have on japanese traditions, but as the show goes on we see the dark side of many traditions

Anyone forgot Apple TV's Dark Matter?
Hazbin Hotel is a good show that was released this year.
That's just a musical

Apocalypse: "So much pain my children, so much death."
3 body problem was so difficult to get through. I gave up after the third episode..
It's not a show for everyone. It's the type of show that really only appeals to people with more complex thinking capabilities.
Why didn't you mention Hazbin Hotel!?

Also it made specifically for musical enjoyer. So the one who made the list might not like it as much as you.
This list has my approval.
YES FALLOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FALLOUT WAS GREAT!
Is the X-Men 97 show the only animated series on this list? How's that show compared to it's predecessor show from the 90s?
It elevates the 90s show. More mature writing and the animation is cinematic and upgraded.
This show is better in everything than the original
Shogun isn't going any further. It became a mini series with just 10 episodes. And they killed off many keep-characters that would've kept it going.
0:27 would be if it wasn't on Apple TV +
