With all of the new animals in thinking about new mounts and I think it would be so cool if they would make "props" for the larger mount plots. Like say you take that snow leopard and put it on the largest floor mount there is but there was like rocks or something to fill the empty space or some "fallen trees" that they could be standing on our something like that. Just some more creativity in the lodge
The only thing I could think of with the tiger was the Jurassic Park 2 scene “GET OUT OF THE TALL GRASS!!!!!” With the raptors. Also in India people wear masks (Halloween not covid) masks on the back of their head to trick tigers into thinking they can see them

Some tigers in certain regions are actually learning the difference between mask and face resulting in the masks slowly becoming less useful/effective. They're freaking learning the clever bastards.
That and also from a general balance perspective it makes way more sense. Compared to all the other single shot rifles like the 7mm, the Hudzik, and the Curman, you get much less effective range due to lack of scope, and in the case of speed and class range it’s beat out by the 7mm. It still does look really fun and I am definitely gonna use it, but if you just gave it the ability to take down class 9 I could absolutely see people using it as a mainstay for big game hunting in the game. Think like a better balanced version of the .470DB.

by far my favorite part of this new map is just seeing the new models and the insane improvement overall on COTW's animals! ever since getting this game i have never been disappointed by an update.
In real life, tigers are less likely to attack if they realize that they have lost the element of surprise, so they probably will leave if you see them first.
Something interesting I noticed in this video is that I found a glitch on Te Awaroa about a year back where the animal’s track icon was replaced with the Himalayan tahr picture. I just realized while watching this video!
I wanna say that icon was shown when the map released as well and we were all expecting tahr to be added years ago. 😂 Hopefully Te will get them soon as well

Im from England not a gun country been playing this since release so got all weapons etc, so what's the most powerful or best shotgun? I always use the Cacc because back then it took months to unlock and buy. Is the 10g better? I don't do birds but rabbits are cool but i mainly do big game so looking forward to this map👍
The Martini Henri is such a iconic rifle. It was very precise for its time and packed a big punch. The top breach makes a very cool noise when being cycled
Was watching the livestreams and heard you talking about rehashing of certain things on the other maps. I was thinking how awesome would it be to grow on the existing stories on some maps. Like with Vurhonga they could play it out that the efforts to rebuild conservation have brought back other species that now need conservation control and protection.
This map looks so special. I am beyond excited to hunt this map. I already knew Tahr Grind was gonna be difficult. But seeing how far down the mountains they are feeding makes it seem that much harder.
Foliage looking nice, i like the papaver and rhododendron. Great to have so many new animal species to study and learn. The Martini/Henry looks interesting and i think they've weighted the tiger behaviour at just the right amount of threat to fun. 😊

Emerald coast and Mississippi Acres are not far behind, but I’m biased in saying that New England Mountains is my favorite map cuz I’m from PA and it reminds me of home. However, the animals this map provides is crazy, there is 0 doubt that this will rival a favorite map of mine to play on.
I can’t wait for the map to drop. Though I personally would’ve included a few more species like Sambar and hog deer. That and Snowcock in the mountains

Honestly would've loved if they made it so you couldn't spot the tiger once it was in its sneaking/stalking mode to make it more terrifying. Besides that, this map looks amazing! Gonna be insane!
i've been really good about avoiding tiger attacks, but last time i played i was sneaking up on a lake for buffs and stepped away to grab a drink and right when i came back i got nurffed by a random tiger, i thought well shit, guess i gotta run back over here again, so i did, and i saw its tracks as i went, going towards where i came from so i figured well its must be long gone and spooked by now, got back to right past where i was and i heard an aggressive growl and it suddenly got me from behind out of nowhere, no time to even aim my gun. no warning growls, no anything, damn dog didn't even alert me it was near by or aggressive i had no idea. first time a tiger got me and it got me twice x"D
I do agree there. We'll hunt them some on stream today with the drink zones tho! You'll see (if you can stop by) that its not TOO predictable, but I do kinda hope they take them away

Just got my .470 for that old timey feel when hunting tigers. Would love to see you do a Victorian type loadout with the new gun and .470 and maybe a lever action on this map.
I think they should make the tigers bigger. They are absolutely massive in real life, but when you spotted that one in the grass my first thought was about how small it looked. It looks mtn lion size. They could easily up the size 30-50% and still be realistic. Ok that one that stalked you after the river kill one looked a little bigger to me but still not as big as i think they should be. Maybe up the body size 20-30%
Really wish they would've gotten the reworked whitetail faces to actually look like a real deer like they did with the barasinghas... Map looks phenomenal tho 🔥

I've been so disinterested in cotw lately. It's still my favourite game to get onto, just can never find myself loading it up anymore. I've been trying to let this map hype me up but honestly, I don't even want to touch it because big game is still broken for me, my shots never penetrate even close range (max 50 meters or closer) ANY class 9 I hunt has this issue, along with occasionally my red deer, my moose all the time, sometimes foxes but maybe that's the gun and distance I hunt those at. I just want to be able to hunt without having to shoot the animal 7 times before it actually penetrates. I honestly don't even want to get the new map this time, because what are the odds they fixed the problem on this map when their other ones are broken as ever? Maybe someday I'll be happy with this game again, but I doubt that'll happen for a while, and that's a damn shame because this map is gorgeous, and I love hunting predator species. I can see tigers being broken like the wolves or other cats in the near future

The new gun not being class 9 is insane. The round if fires is very similar to 45-70 which is class 9 on cotw
Think of it not the size but the speed and size. It’s an EXTREMELY. Slow round
