The first story: you can tell the narrator's emotions toward each parent based solely on how they call "mom" and then "father" instead of "dad"
I call my dad "father" and we have a great relationship. It was a more respect thing.
@@aceclover758 but do you call your mom "mom" or "mother?" Typically it's not just one way. Plus OP calls the stepdad "stepdad" not "stepfather" and expresses deep appreciation and affection for that man, but not the father?

The first story is not nuclear revenge, more so just extremely extreme but justified revenge. Nuclear revenge means that they went too far

Let’s average at 60, that’s 60 a week, times 6 dollars, times 4 weeks, in 6months alone that’s $8640 in untaxed, stolen money. From one person.

That first one was actually kind of funny because my Dad’s name is Stan and god damn right he’s the man!
You always say never fuck with the IT guy, but what I find more shocking is when people fuck with the guys in the legal field. I mean, those guys are way more likely to know exactly what they're owed, _and_ how to get it.

I the first story, the reason he wanted to make it look like the family was intact was because in Chinese culture family is insanely important (it is in many Asian cultures, but I know China for certain). So for him to abandon his family looks horrible and could create barriers in socializing with the business class.
To explain how important family is, a "perfect" home in China has 5 generations living in it. The Chinese language has specific words for each family member that changes based on their position and yours. Example: the word for 'uncle' in English is the same whether you are the brother of the mother or father. In Chinese not only does it change based on which parent the uncle is related to, but whether they are older or younger and where they fall in birth order. It is crazy hard to learn.

Really, it would have been $6 per/hr in their pockets, and law offices tend to work much more than 40hrs a week. So, for a minimum 60 hr week, per month that's $1,440.00, probably pre tax, unreported, per employee that they're scamming.....it adds up!

Slightly Ironic that some of the worst crimes in history have been done by Law Firms trying to cover up the lesser crimes of their clients.
There are cases of Murder, Kidnapping, Arson, Multiple different types of fraud etc. all done to cover up for either themselves, each other or their clients.
