Jesus Rojas...Tonight I hold you in the highest regard...I put you on a pedestal, my friend, simply because of this magnificent track. Good Heaven's man, this song just SMOKE'S!! Thank you for this. Very much appreciated!! from the wily outreaches of Canada.
Paul Czech what gets me is the bass tone. It’s firm, but still hidden in plain sight. I try to imagine this song being done today, with the giant leaps in gear and processing. That’d be a treat. If anything, the original speaks volumes for the tones they achieved back then. Cheers.
When I heard the ROAD GAMES EP. I became A Chad fan for the same reasons Zappa liked him.....FEEL. Thanks Chad . Sorry bout Allan. I listen to A.H. possibly more than any other Jazz/ Rock type music.
Yes, I've been drinking decent ale all day today but my first thought was when I got home...is there a 3/4 bar, somewhere, in one of the finest (and favourite) pieces of music ever played and improvised on? No. Just great phrasing and proper man's writing. The king is dead, long live Allan Holdsworth.
@@snail415 It looks like the Century Plaza Towers in the background, designed by the same architect as the Twin Towers (Minoru Yamasaki). There is something special about those towers from a symbolic standpoint. You'll see them featured in a lot of music videos, movies, album covers, etc. They are 44 storeys tall each, making a combined 88 floors. There are 88 officially recognized constellations in the night sky. The Century Plaza Towers are located at the intersection of Constellation Blvd and Avenue Of The Stars. The 9/11 Tribute In Light (beams of light shooting up into the night sky in NYC to commemorate 9/11) consists of 88 lights. There was also the popular 9/11 documentary titled "Heroes of the 88th Floor", and so on...
RIP Allan Holdsworth.

Corea Kixx thanks for the comment and affection, very good song. Greetings and be good.
One of the few tunes I consider to be impeccable. All of it...the groove, chord progression, solos, production and especially the drumming is perfect.

Chad Wackerman, voce não existe, mermão! Se fosse brasileiro, com certeza teria tocado com Hermeto, ou Egberto ... :P
Starts off a bit like The Wanton Song by Led Zeppelin.
► Chad Wackerman - Tell Me #JazzFusion
First section reminds me of the wanton song by zeppelin
