I enjoyed this interview. and it's really admirable hearing that she's a mortician. i used to transport bodies to the morgue in a hospital for a couple years. You can't call it a "dead end" job (trying to be humorous). The embalming thing isn't odd since death portraits used to be a thing in the United States many years ago. Don't know if I'll jump into mortician work but would like learn more about experiences from other people.

My great grand-mom has always wanted one of her grands or great grands to be a mortician because I think she was one. But every time I see her she always asks me if I want to be a mortician, and I'm always like "No, I'm too scared." LOL Like my great grandma is into scary things.
