    I am super sad to see you guys leave africa. You have made such a positive impact by educating the rest of us in the western world about this important continent. I spent 6 weeks in Kenya thanks to your content and I used your videos as a guide for my trip. To all you Kenyans out there, it is sad that Dave & Trace left without an automatic Kenyan passport. They super deserve it. Please lobby your government to make this happen! I really love these guys!!!!

    Dave, the waist wrap is for ladies as an apron and for modesty. You were astride in it most of the time, so for you it was just an apron! 😂. Tracey rocked it well for both modesty and apron.
    Good authentic experience 👍

    It's indeed a great experience when you meet different people and learn about their culture especially the food. Great Video. And yeah, In India as well we have a culture of staying with parents as a joint family even if the guy is married, they stay with their parents and take care of them or vice a versa. I am 34 years, single and stay with my mom. Have fun, God bless!

      @@DaveMani I don't think it's wrong, It's just different. When you leave home you get independent and get more serious about life in early days and that's good. So it's just how you think it is. The glass is half empty or half full. 🙂

    • @johnlindner4093
      @johnlindner4093 21 день назад

      @@elwinmessey4751 Yeah I agree, This is a really disappointing comment from a channel and creator that usually takes in a lot of cultural nuance to make such an absolutist statement. This should be obvious, but if you maybe don't have or didn't have a great home life, being expected to remain in that household for longer than you want would not be a pleasant experience. A lot of parents try to continue to control the lives of their adult children (i.e. racists or bigots who forbid romantic partners from coming to the house) to say nothing of the not insignificant amounts of intrafamily abuse people often try to get away from. This is before you even just get to personal preference of the individual. The problem is stereotyping someone for living independently or staying in a multigenerational home as "bad" or "good"
