Jack had that Elektar pickup wound- not with 42 gage Formvar, but with 28 gage Elektrisola wire made in Germany, at low impedence levels; then sent with a boost from a microphone transformer out the jack and into the world so you could call this bass cheap??? I think not!!! A value of rare beginnings, filling the niche somewhere between a string bass and a wrong turn that left you; pseudo reviewer, in the Twilight Zone!!! Apologize at once, or forever languish behind the hubs of hell’s fury!!!
How do you adjust the neck and action on that? All on the bridge?
Does it have any acoustic volume without amplification? Enough to hear it while just playing alone and practicing?
What strings? Flats are the way to go.
