- This was recently shared one DIME, and I spent about 12 hours running it through filters trying to clean it up, as it comes from a 2nd or 3rd generation VHS copy.
This is quite a special show from the Promised Land tour. The show was being live broadcast on FM radio, so we have the full show in excellent stereo FM quality - however - we also have an incomplete audience recording with really good sound quality. The bad thing about the audience recording is that some of the songs we do have, either fades in or out, and as such not all of the songs are complete.
For this FM broadcast, some of the stuff between songs was cut (such as the intro to Promised Land etc.), but it has been filled out with an audience recording, so the full show is intact!
Geoff is also sick during this show, and for a time I thought the incomplete audience recording was the full show that was cut down due to illness, but that's not the case! With Geoff being sick during this show, his voice sometimes fails him (not being able to reach or sustain some of the higher notes, as well as cracking and breaking in random spots).
The musical performance is otherwise stellar, and the audience seems to love the show (judging by the noise they make and reactions).
Truly a jewel from this tour - now with video footage from this particular show as well. Enjoy!
I saw this show twice. Best concert I have ever seen, even 25 years later. This album and the video art are absolute masterpieces.
I wish I went to that tour
IVE. never seen anything quite like tis.. Masterful!!
envy you
This is amazing 🫡
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at Big Log to witness creating this masterpiece!
Incredible. Top quality band.
This song/video is GOLD! Thank you for putting in the time to upload it. I believe it was Nissan Pavilion where I saw them on this tour. Despite being a bootleg, this specific video is one of my favorites on all of youtube.
And a true sax player, great control, awesome choice of notes, wicked vibrato. I had no idea he was that good!! And i was a jazz sax player
I had to re-upload all of the songs, save for the first 3, as the audio was out of sync. Sorry about that!
There is no band like Queensryche! They are the best ❤. ORIGINAL
After this, Todd la tore , could never replace Jeff… the original is the best.. and especially with Chris degarmo.. I don’t care what the hell people say!!!!!
This was a very good concert
I am super pissed off at myself for missing this tour
Absolutely - I always regretted missing this tour
25 años today !!! the best album !!! la tierra prometida!!
Pensacola Florida cant say what year... trippin balls. Cried twice. Beautiful concert.
Saw this tour in Buffalo with Type O Negative opening. Queensryche has always been one of the best sounding live bands out there. Killer bass tone funny how much better that small drum kit sounds better than Lars Ulrichs huge kit lol. I had the honor of opening for these guys on their American Soldier tour. Geoff was great to talk to but this was just before he left you could see some of the cracks in the band DeGarmo already left.
