Let’s be honest. Even if by some reason HUNK didn’t reach the extraction point in time, he still would’ve found a way out of Raccoon City.
I think it's safe to assume HUNK was already planning an escape on foot before he reached the Extraction Point, in the off chance Nighthawk didn't stick around.

@@shkambaba2087 No. HUNK left on September 30th the night of the same day Leon, Claire, Sherry made it out of Raccoon. HUNK had a whole day since the nuke didn’t hit until the night of October 1st.
Also, it was Dawn when Jill and Carlos made it out so technically October 2nd is when it hit, giving HUNK a second day.

Funny story: A friend and I were cosplaying Hunk/Alpha Team for this one convention. We needed to rendezvous with another friend in a hotel room. We found him drunk off his ass. We approached him to see if he was still conscious and if he could stand. Meanwhile, other drunk con-goers were looking at us thinking we were cops, and were amazed that we even had speakers attached to our masks. Drunk friend was okay and we brought him out without incident. However...there was this one guy who followed along with us carrying a portable speaker, blasting THIS theme lol.
Search and rescue operatives don't get enough recognition for the shit they do. Also that one guy carrying the portable speaker is a chad lol

The most legendary being in the entire RE franchise. The way he is introduced in RE2MAKE is insane. He literally gets joked on by the guy on the radio and is called Mr. Death several times. Hunk just remains cool and calm. Runs trough the ENTIRE GODDAMN RE2 GAME and r*pes anything in his fucking path. His theme is a perfect reflection of him.

Hunk is such an underrated badass. I feel he should star in his own game, one that focuses on his deadly veteran survivor skills, honed from years of studying and fighting the hordes of mutated abominations created by his former employers.
Think about it: a semi-open world Resident Evil game featuring a certain mysterious, masked mercenary sent to clean up the latest mess brought about by Umbrella's successors. Chris Redfield, now a member of Blue Umbrella, reluctantly seeks out the Grim Reaper's help in getting his new organization up and running, which the taciturn Hunk agrees to... for a price, and perhaps something else (redemption?). Core gameplay revolves around scouting the most dangerous areas of the city to look for survivors, securing safe passageways, and bringing back samples for the BU to study. Hunk's playstyle is like Rambo but against mutants - laying down traps and ambushing the hordes with well-executed strategy whenever guns and his trusty neckbreaker aren't enough.
That would be pretty cool.
The closest we'll get to a standalone HUNK game would be Resident Evil: Codename HUNK, a mod for Doom.

Since the popularity of village and how it ended Plus with the recent leaks about him being in the mainline resident evil game. Most likely the new game will be a throwback to resident evil four, with him rescuing Ethan‘s daughter from a botch operation and fight off a new female main antagonist.

@@officertenpenny8709 Well they already showed his face twice now. One time was in the original Resident Evil 3. Every time you finish the game you unlock an epilogue file, showing what the other characters did after raccoon city. The 8th and last file depicts Hunk without his mask. So to see it you have to play through the OG RE3 eight times.
Then in Umbrella Chronicles when you beat 4th Survivor there, you can see the reflection of Hunks face in his mask.
They also wanted to make two games about Hunk but each time they changed their minds last second. First was the original concept for RE3, it involved Hunk on board of one of Umbrella's ships. Assets and ideas for this were reused in Dead Aim and Revelations. Speaking of Revelations, the original plot of that game was also going to involve Hunk and was supposed to start a rivalry between him and Chris. If you watch some early Trailers and Teasers you can still see scenes of that original concept.
Finally it is strongly hinted that Hunk is the protagonist of the game Umbrella Corps. or rather it's mode "the Experiment". But Umbrella Corps sucked so hard that it probably isn't considered canon anymore.

This music is perfect for many reasons but especially because the city is about to get nuked. So if the city doesn't kill you first, the nuke will. It instills the notion of "the town is gone and everyone is dead, and you're witnessing its final minutes" as the player has to keep up the pace and get out. It almost feels like the "real ending" so to speak.

Hunk’s complete lack of a fuck given about zombies is what really sells him as a badass. He treats his extraction as an average day at the office. Nothing extremely out of the ordinary for him. Despite everyone else in said game being panicked by zombies to some degree, Hunk could give less of a flying fuck about them and is solely focused on getting out.
HUNK is neither hero nor villain.
He is just a pro.

I always play this on my car Bluetooth when I drive myself back home from work. It feels like I've completed an incredible task, and can come back to bask in celebration.
Suited this mission down to the T as well didn't it. and after failing the mission for the 50th time this theme song would of no doubt got stuck in alot of people's minds and not just mine. There's nobody on this planet completing this mission at their first attempt.
