- Here is a walkthrough for Stray's "I Am Speed" Trophy/Achievement which asks you to complete the game in under 2 hours. This run is 1:35:40 and has a few mistakes. So there is plenty of time to spare.
This trophy guide is strictly for the Speedrun trophy and doesn't go out of the way for other miscellaneous tasks or trophies.

In the club, hitting just the right button and then the left works in order to get to VIP. Shave off a couple seconds. 👍
Yeah, another person told me this too. In hindsight I should have tried a few different ways for that instead of just sticking with what worked 😅. I'm gonna pin your comment so hopefully you can maybe save someone's run!

The fact that you got that can't catch me trophy out of the way randomly was awesome, that's probably the hardest trophy in the game.nit took some people like 5 hours it sucked
Haha. It took me probably 30-1hour on the PS5 version which I had done before making this video so I had had some practice already and knew the path I wanted to take. Definitely got lucky tho because I would have just carried on otherwise like I did with the sneakitty trophy

Regarding the stage where we have to trap two sentinels, the cat can exit by a closed door because he’s small enough to pass through its bars. So, the easier strategy is to lure both sentinels, enter the room by the right side, run to the closed door, exit through its bars, then run to the external panel of the other door, closing it.
Just came back to thank you for this amazing video, I followed this guide precisely and finished it in 1.38, I even died 3 times and made 5 or 6 mistakes.

Im happy and sad i found this video. I was able to complete the game A LOT quicker, but making it to the end was bittersweet.
Now to play it AGAIN in under 2 hours to gain my achievement points!!
The buttons in the club, just press the right one and then the left one, that's it :) Amazing video keep up!
Fantastic video. I took your suggestion at the start and watched your guide in pieces, pausing during the game to check the next section. The only piece of advice I have is that in the bar scene, when you're raising and lowering the rafters, all I had to do was press the left button once, followed by the right button once (didn't touch the center button) and it let me across. Other than that, your guide was amazing. Liked and subbed. Thanks for helping me plat this game!

Thank you for the video! It helped me through to get the coveted Platinum (I would have screamed if i had to do it again). It was still tight at 1h:53m23s at control room save and I freaked out a bit not sure there was enough time to finish the rest - and this was with using your guide and having played through the game already. Most of the time wasting moments involved getting a bit lost in hub areas and dying a couple of times. I wish I'd read the comments first about the club etc but thank goodness I made it!!
A tip with the sentinels where you have to trap the two with two doors. Start with both doors open and then trigger both sentinels. Run into the room and trigger the far door and simply run around on the outside and close the 2nd door before they try to exit. Far easier than hiding behind the post
Saved my run with this tip. Did everything else like in this video (thank you, Bonds Box!) but couldn't for the life of me get the kitty to dance behind the columns without being seen (like Bonds Box did with amazing nimbleness*). Ended up at 1hr and 54mins due to one earlier replay and multiple deaths at the two sentriea near the end of the prison.

Thanks for this great video guide. I know you put a lot of work into it. Your commentary was a pleasure to listen to and I liked your accent. I didn't get the "I Am Speed" trophy because I went about 10 minutes over the 2 hour limit so I will try again. I saved the video as an mp4 file because streaming a long RUclips video on a smartphone is an annoying and toxic experience.

First attempt at the achievement and I got a time of 1:30:28! It would have been lower if I didn't die twice in Jail and if I didn't glitch and fall out of the elevator that takes you up in Rooftops. (I had to reload from last save, flick the lever, and wait for it to come all the way back down again.)

This was a good guide- I just died too many times to sentinels and it reset me too far back so I finished in 2 hours 1m and 44s. I’m so sad but thank you for helping

@@BondsBox I don’t think I can do it again. It was so stressful and my anxiety was on high alert the whole time. I would try to jump and it just wouldn’t work but that happened so many times it didn’t help on my speed. I really tried though and I appreciate your support

@@BondsBox heyyyy! I’m back to tell you I just did the run in 1 hour 40 mins and 51 secs!! After I didn’t make it last time I went back through and practiced each chapter once to make sure I had it and I ran it all today. I finally did it!

Hey... I completed this game in 1.59.57 on pc, but didn't get the achievement. I had to restart like 3 4 times,... Any thoughts ? Shall i load up the save file for me to get the trophy?
I'm not sure tbh. My playthroughs have all been under 1hr 40mins. Could be that you cut it too close? Sorry I cant be more help.
How did he get the fast window opening with momo?

I completed it the trophy never popped not sure if it's because I skipped over the credits or not but I ended with 1hr 59 Mins 35s idk why the trophy didn't pop for me I'm super angry I spent all night playing
So apparently the time on the menu is the time of your last checkpoint. The time from there until the end isnt included. You would need to do that final checkpoint in under 25 seconds in your case. Not sure that's possible though.

@@jerryhobbs3261 my guess would be u missed it by a few milliseconds. Or it has to be UNDER 2 hours and being exactly 2 hours doesn't count 😥
I got a 1:38 time on my 4th attempt.
My game says 1hr 59m and 2s and it didn’t pop
Someone else mentioned they didn't get it after cutting it close. I'm wondering if the time on the file is the time at the last checkpoint 🤔
The “Load Game” panels show the time of the last saved checkpoint, which is in the Control Room, when the cat awakes after the dome is completely opened. Therefore, the player must have a maximum time of 1h 58m 30s in the last checkpoint, since it takes 90 seconds to sprint to the game credits.
