  • Plant most bulbs around two to three times their length. So the bigger the bulb the deeper the hole. Our daffodil bulbs are between 1" and 2" so they are going in holes 2" - 6" deep. Our bluebell bulbs are no more than 1" long so they are going in holes at least 3" deep.
We are using a cricket wicket as a dibber to create the holes. A dibber is what every wicket wants to be.
