I live full time in Fairfield Glade. There are a lot of retirees here and the average age is 68+. It was appalling to me the number of Wyndham people who came from all over the globe but especially from up north and all the way down to Florida during Covid; they come for a week, expose the rest of us to their germs and then leave, and next week another batch comes. It's a pandemic and our health care system here isn't up to the challenge! Please stay home or at least stay away from the more public areas like the pool and indoor hot tub.

I'm sorry that you feel this way, but unfortunately Club Wyndham Fairfield Glades is located within your community. It's a "resort destination" and owned by THE largest timeshare company in NA. Sadly, we definitely experienced a few people that clearly lived there (like yourself) that made our stay quite difficult and unwelcoming. We complained about this to the front desk staff, to which they were WELL AWARE of you folk. They explained to us that the people living in the area permanently do not "own" the area, and it's a shame that they treat visitors poorly. Also note that in order to cross the border, us 'Northerners' HAVE to be fully vaccinated. So, if it was still considered a pandemic, businesses would NOT be allowed to open their doors, nor would the US/CAN border.

Maybe you need to isolate, stay inside, and avoid all public areas. Make sure to wear your mask at all times, even while driving by yourself (can't be too careful)... Keep plenty of super strength disinfectant handy and wash your face and hands every 15 minutes. Please don't pick your nose or bite your fingernails either. It would be wise to avoid any type of food prepared outside of your home for risk of contamination... I lost my uncle to covid. He was only 89, a diabetic with a heart condition and kinda overweight. Other than that, he was a vision of health. He never met a stranger and was always super friendly. He lived life to the fullest, and everyone just loved him. He didn't take the advice mentioned above except maybe the nose picking and fingernail biting part... I hope this helps:)
