Visiting Crossville TN? Watch This Room Tour of Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade!

- Located on the Cumberland Plateau and known as the Golf Capital of Tennessee, we decided to check out Crossville for the first time and stayed at the Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade. This two bedroom condo unit featured a fireplace, two bedrooms, two bathrooms full kitchen, and TWO balconies!
Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade sits on 12,500 acres and has all of the activities and facilities needed for guests to maintain an active lifestyle. There is a 36-hole golf course and three 18-hole courses, including Stonehenge, listed among Golf Digest's 75 best resort courses in America. There are 12 no-wave lakes, where guests can enjoy boating, fishing and swimming. The property houses courts for numerous racquet sports, basketball, playgrounds, and indoor and outdoor pools. Paved and natural hiking trails are scattered throughout the property and accommodate a range of skill levels.
The Fairfield Glade area is mostly a retirement community that appears resistant to the over-development common in other areas of the country. The resort is unique in that it shares property and facilities with the town, a perfect opportunity for guests to mingle with residents and become part of the Fairfield Glade community.
We loved the area so much during our first vacation in March 2022 that we decided to make another visit in May 2022 to explore more of the area. We have a travel vlog coming your way of all things we decided to see and do in Crossville, TN so stay tuned. It almost feels like a hidden gem!

i live in Nashville and it was good to see how Fairfield Glade has developed over the many years. I was last there in 1990's,
Wow! We were thinking that the area seems to have resisted the level of development that many other areas have seen over the years. It would be interesting to see what it was like in the 90s! Very beautiful and relaxing looking place
It is really beautiful there. Wish Chris had used more footage from the balcony on this last trip. The full trees made it more beautiful, relaxing and private.

We really love it there. The unit is so roomy, just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable. Can't wait to put out our video of exploring the area. It's such an amazing place!

Lol! If we had released it after the first trip, it might have been close. But, after the second, Chris was much less enamored with the property, mostly because of the uncomfortable seating. Maybe next time we'll bring some bean bag chairs!
2:20 I liked the camera movement. Actually, throughout the tour. It seemed different from your other tours.
We've never had 3 floors before, so Chris was able to get a little more creative. After so many room tours, we're trying to shake things up a bit :)

Very nice place. Great for relaxing after a day of hiking, and crossing swinging bridges! Awesome tour! It's funny, we had a fireplace in a room in Gatlinburg and when we checked it we soon discovered it was home to some birds!!! The balconies are nice. Alan does have a great house. I love the T-shirt!!!!m Woot Woot! You wear it well!
We’re thrilled that we found such a great property for our visits to Crossville. I think we’ll be spending a lot more time there. Funny about the birds. We had some noises coming from the fireplace on our last night. Whatever it was, someone else can discover :)

Honestly, we would love to have you and Teresa join us on a trip like this. Chris and I have seriously considered moving to the area - it's a retirement community and would be perfect for the 4 of us to live out our golden years. Unfortunately, there is nothing for Teresa there. But, we could just vacation in Vegas together a couple times a year, and also visit the casinos on this side of the country :)

Okay, so the May Stay wasn’t as good?
We definitely didn't like to room as much. First, everything was completely backwards - that throws us off when it happens at the Cosmo, too. That wall in the middle of the community area really darkened the room and made everything seem more cramped and less open. We liked the trip more, overall, I think, because we had the beautiful trees, no snow and we explored much more than on the first trip.

Hey, Karen! Yes, we "inherited" a timeshare from parents and use it frequently through the RCI timeshare exchange. We mostly use it in Vegas, but have also used it in places like FL, TN, even Aruba!
