- Hi Loves!
Today’s video is an update of my hysteroscopy experience! I was still a little out of it, however, I hope you find this video helpful if you are going to have this procedure done.
Thank you for your open and detailed sharing. I hope your journey to fertility has been successful. You'll never know how much comfort you've brought women by removing some of the unknown for this procedure.
Thanks for sharing your story! I’m having mine this Wednesday and I am so nervous!
Thank you for watching I hope everything went ok for you!
I'm glad everything went well with your procedure. Safe travels.
Thank you I appreciate that!
Hi Taunya. Wow you are very detailed with your whole process. I work in surgery and would be one of the ones saying good morning and I'm just putting something in your legs and that it's going to massage your calf. I'm glad you got good treatment and that you were comfortable. All doctors are not always so sweet. As long as they tell you everything you need to know about the outcome. BTW the medication that you get makes your nose itch; and that was not a lot of snot. Glad you recouporated well. I'm typing this as you are speaking so you've gotten your results and your husband has had his oblation done. I pray all has gone well. Blessings to you and your family to be. 6.8.19. Oh yeah I heard Vinca Minora also known as Periwinkle may be good to help with replacing progesterone. That's a flower. Look into it.
Hi Thank you for watching! I try to be as detailed as possible just in case I need it again lol And thank you for letting me know about the meds making my nose itch I will keep that in mind. All is well now my husband recovered well after his surgery and reported back to the Navy fit for full duty. I will look into the periwinkle to help with my progesterone I currently have a prescription for Endometrin.
Hi Love, I just came across your channel and found this video. Could you please share which hospital you’ve done your surgery at and who your surgeon was. I would like to get details please
After polyp surgery how long is the recovery process? Is there any possibility to develop polyp again during pregnancy 🤰?
Thanks for sharing your story I having it done in July 2019 your so young I'm 60 I'm not afraid I've had my children I pray you and your husband have children like you want god bless you you help put my mind at ease
Thank you for watching! The procedure isn't that bad at all and pain is minimal. I appreciate the prayers and I pray you have an easy experience as well!
Thanks for sharing I just found out I have to have this surgery
Thanks for sharing! I am going Tuesday and I’m terrified!!
Thanks for shared your experience I just got my today around 10AM after the surgery I slept like a baby. After woke up is was just like nothing happens and the first word I said, it was I want pee🤣. The nurse said wow that a good signe and yes I'm home I don't feeling anything and I'm happy because I was nervous before the surgery
How long did u bleed
did u go under general anesthesia? so was it painful after u woke up? is it better w local anesthesia?
Thank u for sharing. I'm having it done next month and I'm really scared. Watching ur video now
Dont be scared. I had it done in the office with no anesthesia. It was uncomfortable and had some cramping. But overall it was fast and tolerable. You'll be fine :)
My hysteroscopy 10 days post op bleeding, cramping, clotting waiting 4 this to end. Not sure if this procedure even helped anything
Did you have the myosure procedure? Did you have foggy brain after the procedure? How soon before you resumed normal activity?
Hi unfortunately l didnt get any anasthetic and felt all the pain which was barbaric.
Hey u nice video thanks for sharing your story I looked at so many videos about this I was so nervous but it turned out ok. New subbie here💋💌.
Hi! Thank you for supporting and I'm so happy to hear everything worked out well for you!
I’ve got mine soon and I’m terrified! I’m still a virgin and don’t know how it would go. If it would cause damage or break my hymen etc. I have heavy & painful bleeding so they said they need to check for any issues.
Same!
When your under anesthesia, does it feel like your sleeping? I'm having this procedure done in a couple of weeks and am scared of the anesthesia as well!
It’s the greatest nap.. I was high as a kite..,those meds are the good-good
I am getting this done tomorrow. 8/27/20. This will be my second fibroid surgery but first hysteroscopic myomectomy. I had an abdominal myomectomy 5 years ago. I am happy that the recovery time should not be as long. I am a little nervous but ready to get these stupid fibroids out. I am so aneimic and have such heavy bleeding that i am ready. Thank you for sharing.
I hope everything went well for you!
@@LoveTaunya It did. Minimal recovery time, about 4 days. Only time will tell how well the surgery worked for my bleeding. Thank you for asking :)
Did you have any hair shed after the procedure?
Hey! Same thing happened to me: I had an hysteroscopy exactly 5 years after having an abdominal myomectomy. I'm glad the hysteroscopy recovery time is not as long and that it's less invasive. I have very heavy bleeding too.
Your story sound similar to mine, Im having my 2nd fibroid surgery but first HM after 5 years. That first one was extremely painful and took about a month to recover. Im praying this procedure has alot less downtime
Hope all is well girl sense this video keep us posted boo!
Hey girl! All is well I am actually editing my post-op update now... thank you for checking in!
Love_Taunya np girl! U no us ttcer got to stick together just making sure ur still alive lol well good to hear will be looking forward the post!

Hello how did it go??? My OBGYN has recommended it… I’ve never had any procedures before in life. Going under anesthesia and all that makes me nervous also.. how are you doing today? How has you periods been? How long was your recovery?
@@ShyXoxo1920 things went well ☺️I was under anesthesia and I was super relieved about that. I think I was lucky there was only one fibroid and it was removed . I was also able to leave the hospital the same day. That was my experience 🤓
I'm about to do one tomorrow so hopefully mine is as OK as yours
I hope everything went well for you!
Were you under general anesthesia or under sedation for your hysterscopy?
I was sedated for the procedure
Glad your procedure went well!
Thank you!
Love your shirt!!
Thank you!
Hi again. I looked at your video log but saw nothing about your husband and his recovery. Do tell. I worked in heart procedures too. Blessings
You know I never even thought about him doing a sit down about his experience. Maybe when his job slows down a bit I will talk him into sharing but overall he is well. Thank you for asking!
I got mine yesterday and I feel great.
That's great!
@@LoveTaunya I have mines this Wednesday 03/15 🙏🏼
Was this for polyps?
I originally had the procedure done to check for left over tissue from my miscarriage, however, a polyp was found that happened to have pre cancerous cells, and this past March 2019 I ended up needing another hysteroscopy because another polyp was found.
@@LoveTaunya was it also precancerous?
Ion even remember being wheeling into the OR🥴🤦🏽♀️… DuuuuVal!… I’m from Jax👍🏽

Hello! Thanks for sharing your story. How are you today 2023? How are your periods? 😅
I am doing just fine thank you for asking! I just found out that I am expecting baby #2 and my cycles were regular leading up to this pregnancy.
@@LoveTaunya congratulations on your second baby! That’s wonderful news to hear. And with your cycles are you dealing with any pain/heavy bleeding or is it normal?
So happy to hear that about the babies. That’s been concern with having a fibroid and getting a procedure. But I have some relief knowing this particular procedure is not going to have a negative impact.
Did you have the procedure to remove something? Because I’m having one to remove a cyst but I don’t know if they’ll use anesthesia :(
Originally I had it done to check for left over tissue from a miscarriage, and my doctor found a polyp and removed it then. They usually give anesthesia because it is an out patient surgery.
Sounds scary. Did anesthesia make u sick and how long were u under?
It wasn't that bad honestly... I didn't have any issues with the anesthesia and I think it was about an hour or 1 1/2 hours. I'm actually about to have another one done because I've developed another polyp
