Thanks for posting this. I love when Phil channels the Beatles, but with a guitar so close to George's, and a period amp, the tone blew me away. Simply amazing.
Going to put it out there and say this is my favourite Fretted Americana guitar to date (and I have watched all your videos). Keep on doing what you guys do best!
I haven’t watched one of these old Fretted Americana vids in years. Holy cow Phil can play and entertain! And i love these rosewood Teles. I don’t know the story of how George Harrison ended up with one in Let it Be. But he certainly had good taste.
Hi Phil, i remember you and your dad having that bar in mississauga- the magnet- it was our local 'water hole'...onofrio(wop)...karen cook, me...i was 'dancing at the time- and all the rest of the regulars... i remember your dad, giving out OUZO,,frm greece..this was way back...80's
He's the hottest & most entertaining GEE-TAR personality in dee vorld! Thanks Phil... You make me laugh & smile, despite the duldrums of my depression. 🎸💥🔥
Anytime Phil plays a tele in one of these demos, his hard attack and frenetic style reminds me of the late great D. Boon, of Minutemen. He was one of the truly all-time greatest Tele players.
Loved it when ya played 'I Feel Good', I remember you played it when you played a Gibson V, Might of been the Sambora one but so glad you played more of the song this time! Fantastic!!!
Just happened to watch the Sambora Korina V, and despite Phil saying that he never played "I Feel Good" on this channel, he did it on that video! What are the odds I'd pick that one right after this one?!
I didn't know that guy before. A real talent. He has something... making him a real guitar player, not just shredder, teacher... I dunno. He's great. And, oh, he should be in a band with Franky Bello - same attitude ;)
Man I'd LOVE a rosewood tele! This ones the real deal too, with the maple slice in the middle. I've priced the materials for a build one using pre-made rosewood 2 pc body and a solid rosewood neck with rosewood fret board, also pre-made = $1000+(plus hardware, wiring, pick ups etc.) Just the Indian rosewood billets required to fabricate the neck, fret board and the 2 body "halves" from scratch is $300 (plus all extra items as stated above AND the shop, specialty tools and knowledge) I'd have bought this one if he hadn't scratched the crap out of the back with his freak'n huge skull buckle!!!! It took me 20 yrs to get my White Falcon in 2011 - now the quest is on for the elusive, illustrious rosewood tele!!! (and I'm not wait'n 20 years!)
More Gretsch, please! Would love to hear some more of those beauties on the bottom row behind Phil. Keep 'em coming. I'm always glad to see a new one of these videos pop up.
He broke into a rendition of ''the Jeffersons' theme at 4:05. As much as I hate that show, somehow this is working for me. It must be the great tone of this guitar...
i love how Phil basically knows every song in the entire world..
Still one of the most entertaining things on RUclips. Phil X knowshow to give people what they want.
U can't hate the guy When he loves playing that much
Dude's energy and enthusiasm makes me wanna get up and break rocks....
Phil X is one of the best fiddlers on RUclips...Loved "The Jefferson's" !!!
This dude’s attitude and love for music is infectious. Love it!!!!
Andertons brothers, eat your heart out!! This guy is finally having some fun doing reviews...
I hate those arseholes.

The man is a natural entertainer. Masters every genre perfectly. Keep on rockin Phil. We love you!!!
Love Harrison on the original- no wonder they are making a re-issue. Thanks Phil for not playing a dirty sound all the time. Terry from Oz.

Thanks for posting this. I love when Phil channels the Beatles, but with a guitar so close to George's, and a period amp, the tone blew me away. Simply amazing.

ooooh the joy of watching this guy go nuts! I'd spend all day watching him rocking out!
I haven’t watched one of these old Fretted Americana vids in years. Holy cow Phil can play and entertain!
And i love these rosewood Teles. I don’t know the story of how George Harrison ended up with one in Let it Be. But he certainly had good taste.
What I would give to have this guy's energy.
The best guitar review.. He knows what to show to us...
Didn't Harrison play a Rosewood Tele in the Let It Be sessions?
Yeah. He also played it at the rooftop concert
The Lone Chihuahas Wow Didn't know that? Thought it was a Ricky?
Hotwheel66 no they only used Rickenbackers in the early days
They also built 2 Rosewood Stratocasters for Clapton purportedly...
This is probably the nicest telecaster i have ever seen.
this guy has such a jack black personality, I love it! Shreds, and has a sick voice too!
Phil, you did an Awesome Job, playing on the Bon Jovi-X Tour, You Proved that Richie Sambora Can Be Replaced, Cheers Man,, Cousin Figel
"Is Phil wearing his shirt inside out?"

Cocaine is a hell of a drug. Phil's a hell of a guitarist. This is a hell of a video.

Phil X!! His voice is up there with his guitar playing.
Outstanding musician.
George Harrison had a rosewood Tele I believe. Nice guitar.
i love that you do alot of demos on the ac30. its such an awesome amp.

That is a beautiful tele!!
How can I not comment about this. Phil kicks ass and his is a killer guitar. Throw in the Jeffersons and it is just icing on the cake.
