Oh boy, I play this everyday in the morning, it's kinda ritual before playing all of my Trancendental Etudes. Then I have breakfast.
Ah yes, the usual.
@just a name that's me on a daily basis.
@just a name obviously i can, my virtuosity rivals liszt's you know
When someone breaks a comment chain with a crummy meme
Franz Liszt you can play this WHILE your eating your breakfast your not fooling me
The music with this picture, these colors... It tastes like mango
Dániel Monostori it tastes like..heaven.
My cat's breath smells like cat food...
dogmavskarma does your dog's breath smell like dog nuts??
You must have synesthesia.
Fake Name i didnt know there are people who have taste synesthesia xD
The piece that so many can recognize, but not name.
Is that that one organ song? Is that the vampire song?
Shame that such a beautiful piece only recognized for the first few seconds and only as the vampire theme.
At least we’re cool for knowing the whole thing 😎
now its blu lobsta
The fugue should get more attention just as how people know the toccata
00:00 Toccata
02:50 Fugue
This isn't just an ordinary Transcription, This is Actually Busoni's Arrangement of Bach's Toccata and Fugue. Notably the fugue is harder than the original
2:50 and so on is the best part!
Dlm 0:04 and on is the best part
That is the *fugue*
Fugue in D minor.
1:5 is the best part

2:48 oh man I like the fugue this is beautiful piece
4:12 some of the most beautiful music I've heard
8:09 That briefly sounds incredible on the piano.
To know his was played by a person shows you how talented and beautiful the world can be
0:25 is more scarier than the organ version of it
Master of counter point displaying his extraordinary, command over the keyboard. Beautiful musical lines and effortless development of themes
This organ masterpiece will always rank among the most popular baroque with audiences. But amongst performers and composers this giant will be a formidable challenge
8:13 What's happened here? The Sound of that E Octave???
They were too powerful
I've been attempting to learn this entire song. I've made it through Toccata, and I'm currently up to the first "tongue twister" part that i'm trying to overcome, in your arrangement, it's at 3:27.
I had an interesting reflection that pipe organ is actually bizarrely fitting for a vampire's instrument. The notes on a piano die, you can play a note as violently as you like, but it fades in a beautiful way. The pipe organ doesn't, it sustains so long as you hold the note, and all you can do is stand in awe at the scale and power of the thing.
It has its roots in religion, but I think the meaning a pipe organ can convey has evolved far more complexity than that. It's one of those things that is unspeakably beautiful.
Ty for the arrangement!! It's very lovely!
I thought I was the only one who thought 2:56-3:31 was a massive tongue twister 😂
@@peterpham6288 ahaha it's so beautiful!! i think it's bach's use of polyphony that trips up my brain so much trying to play it, but it's so good! the more i look into his music the more intimate it feels. i could probably spend my whole life and not fully understand what he seemed to grasp intuitively
You never cease to amaze me with the high quality sound and color! Keep it up! Congratulations on 50K!!
Such a piece... I learned the Toccata 6 years ago but stopped playing it (I was too little to actually play it, I could do it only one hand at a time). Took out the 30 years old sheet my father used to learn this piece from and started learning it again. I got to the fugue, it is difficult, but man IF IT IS WORTH IT... the fugue is pure math harmony. Way ahead of his time, Bach was.
I was waiting for this! such a masterpiece. LOVE IT!
+Areselmago I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Happy Bithday to you Bach
did anyone notice that at one point it requires 11 fingers
+Iliana Benitez 0:29 for example, but I think it's still possible to play if you pressed in in the middle of adjacent keys with one finger.
it is meant to be played with the organ, where the pedals play the notes lower down
how about using your nose. I did that once.
Usually, adult-sized pianist can press 2 notes with 9 tuts margin.
mxpph No this is a piano transcription, these notes are written for the piano
Congratz on achieving 50000 subscribers! +Andrej Dedik You must have been here from the beginning! I'm always glad to be able to share piano music with everybody here. Thank you for your kind words :)
4:30 - 4:42 and etc. unfortunately lose their feeling when played in piano... but it still is a beautiful piece.
sounds much better on piano
Who else is watching this amazing performance to this day?
Cresceno Avarikan 'this day'
In fifty years i'm sure you'll realise
i'm currently learning/reading the piece when this was uploaded!! what a very wonderful video! congratulations on reaching 50000! :)

It's so dramatic and awesome! Nice work btw :)

+pianoREADER you thinking in post el conteabandista-Franz Liszt?
+tecladista sem repertório contrabandista*
This is very similar but not really the same as the Busoni version, could you please tell me what arrangement it is? I would very much appreciate it. Thank You!!
+pianoREADER do you have the sheet music for this version of it
When you're Rachmaninoff:
3:55
totally unique and fabulous
По-моему- это идеально)
The only transcription that really imitates the organ.
The perfect Dracula theme on organ.
My favorite Bach's along with the Little Fugue in Gm.
Lol those are also my two favorite bach pieces!
Same
素晴らしい。遥かなる極み。素晴らしい限りです。我が魂は揺さぶられ感動の波押し寄せたり!
What the fugue is going on here?
When I hear this song I think of the movie rollerball lol 😂
awesome
+Carbon SniperZ :D
I love this piece! Any chance of doing Lizst's Sonata in B minor? It's an awesome piece.
Best ever.
Subscribers - 50,000. On the dot. Looks beautiful haha, congrats!
+minigooshey It looks so nice doesn't it? Haha. Thank you!
-The great- Busoni transcribed the original piece into this, so it would sound a bit different from the original.
More like to imitate the T H I C C sound of the organ
Aldo for copyright reasons
@@timmyc9915 There was no copyright on Bach's music, the sole purpose of this transcription is to capture the rich sounds of organ which wouldn't be possible with original version on piano
Can you make a synthesia version of BWV 1058 Movement 1 pls?
I like this 😊
Я восхищаюсь, что это играли живые люди и куда лучше компьютера
Ну вообще то вряд ли кто нибудь играл эту версию для пианино из людей))
Franz Liszt - El Contrabandista?
+Lollipop I requested it a few months ago, and no upload yet :(
someone already did it.
it is one of the most difficult masterpieces ever you know
+poiuytr probably he should transform Lisitsa's interpretation of it.
almost every liszt piece is one of the most difficult masterpieces ever. XD
one finger pressed inbetween 2 keys
Congrats on 50k subs
+Ryan Wiles Thank you, Ryan :)
Could you upload the Pathetique sonata (full)? Please.
Played the organ, badly, as a child. Am still, and always will be, in awe of this, my favorite piece of organ music, and also all its adaptations into orchestral music. Disney be damned, but Fantasia changed my musical ears for the better!
0:00 toccata
2:49 fugue
Beautiful! I have a question, how do you remember all these old etudes, ballads and other? How? and how can you finish it too fast?
thank you.
+Lior Davidov Oh I did not play these pieces myself. They are from MIDI files that I found online. If you looked closely at the intro card/description of my new videos you'll find the name of the pianist or MIDI sequencer for that performance.
0:52 best part
Agreed
Love this song. 🎹 looks hard to play then it sounds.
Nice Bro
cool
Themes from 3:23 to 3:29 were re-used by Raúl Di Blasio in his musical piece "Corazón de niño".
Muy chido😎
This is too frustrating, it gets really close to Ski Sunday but never quite gets there!
NICE ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ LIKE Y SUSCRITO
This sheet played in the video is noy playable however, there are several occasions where the right hand is supposed to play 6 notes at the same time; this is possible with an organ due to the pedals and other system, but not on a piano.
It’s possible to play 6 (or even more in some rare cases) notes with one hand! You just put you finger in between two keys at a time instead of one.
0:30 How is it supposed to work ? Right hand with 6 fingers ? (or two keys with one ?)
Can you please share the background image ?
Also nice video like as always
+Maarethyu Maybe... I'll make a slightly different one for you guys. And thanks!
This looks like it would be insane to play on the piano.
Yhey Busoni
Can anyone say the intro music?
Now this is what I call "fancy restaurant music".
Dashie Dash That would be jazz (in my opinion).
Aren't there some mistakes at the beginning of the fugue related to the assignment of notes to each hand?
Best
best part starts at 7:00
Can you upload the prelude op. 28 no. 4 of chopin? I love that piece :D
+Cristobal Ibarra Coming soon... I love that piece, too!
+pianoREADER To expect then, thank you very much and keep it up , I love the work you do (sorry for my bad english xD)
Who wrote this transcription?
This might be a dumb question and I apologize for my ignorance if it is but how do you get the piano to sound so good? It sounds so much like a real piano.
he use expensive soundfonts and only play quality midis
Pianoteq.
He uses pianoteq, to get them realistic sounds.
note this midi track has peadal too
Notice in various places you can actually hear the key presses if you listen close enough, this is a recording turned into a MIDI
Wait, what was the song in the intro! I’ve been looking everywhere for it
Word
LoudLyfe Ent Okay it’s apart of the Fugue, 3:00 in I believe.
This is not the Busoni's Transcription?
It's soooo hard but very awesome!
Half a year that i'm practicing this piece and I'm still wondering how the left hand can be that much precise and rythmic, i learnt all the beggining in maybe 2 or 3 days and from 3:40 it's very hard
Try it harder, man. This version isn't the hardest. If u are interested I had a video of a waaaaaaay harder transcription, I could find it for u.
Everyone: this is so beautiful!
Me: noice background
look at the background, what do you see?
What gorgeous music, even when a computer plays it!
Nice~~ I remember about a year ago when I preformed this at my church of the pipe organ. I'm an organist, btw either way nice^^ even though I prefer it to be played on pipe organ.
No-one:
Not a Single Soul:
Bach: 11 fingers, bitches!
Where can i get the midi?
I am having a hard time with a school question regarding this piece....How many times does the subject appear in Bach's toccata and fugue in d minor
😍😍
The fugue seems a bit tame but I love this piano rendition
HELP!!! How do I get this for my Synthesia
This sounds like an arrangement of Bach's Tocata in D minor. Who was the composer who arranged it?
Busoni
what is the piece at the beginning?
Ador Rahbar it’s the toccata
(Yes I do know how yo're supposed to or are able to player it, but I thought I'd point it out anyway);
0:26 seconds in, and it's already impossible with 6-note chords for a single hand, like dafuq kind of hands did you have Bach?!
you play using your thump to hit two keys at once. Not so uncommon actually.
Good enough hands to make me wet ♡♡bach♡♡
Maybe Liszt or Rachmaninoff can play it :)
Jack Taylor he had feet, this is an organ piece you potatoes
Φιλιππος You do realize that this version is an arrangement made by Busoni for solo piano, right? Allow me to repeat: SOLO PIANO. That chord is indeed supposed to be played with 6 notes. Perhaps you should stop being a dick in the comments and actually improve your musical understanding.
USE YOUR THUMBS!
Now are there any more questions
What do I do if don’t have any thumbs?
8:55
Как называется музыка в заставке?
