    She is coming along just fine, and her trust for you has grown. Just shows how the groundwork is so very important. I think you have done a fantastic job with a Mare that was quite nasty with you. Well Done. Thank you for posting.

    So very glad I took the time to watch this series. I learned so much and gained a great appreciation for horses, trainers, riders and anything that relates. I found myself watching your videos because of the simple thought I had “ how do u steer a horse” . You’ve blessed my life. Thank u

      She will be fine with other people- you can see that she’s got a really solid mind- yes, she challenged her new life, but who here wouldn’t? I think Sam picked a really fantastic horse- wish I could bid on her if she ends up being auctioned!

    • @MBrusaZappellini
      @MBrusaZappellini 5 лет назад +1

      Lots of people just do training on one side! I’m pretty even as far as left and right... except for mounting. I need to work on it because all horses should mount from both sides, but my muscles are just too tight on that side

      @@kaylamulkey9171 chuckles... WHAT free time? Just trying to find them out in the back 90 can take an hour or more. Cleaning stalls, having season, tack cleaning, horse grooming... Actually, my mare was the ugliest horse ever..
      A traditional Appy. No mane to speak of, a broom tail, the Roman nose... And she made me work for every bit of ground I made in her training. She was a red roan. But did she ever make me a better trainer as well as a decent rider! Regretfully, she was deadly allergic to steroids...and when I had to have a new vet out, he didn't believe me about her allergic reaction. She dropped at me feet instantly, gone. After that I didn't ride much...

    Can you talk about how you first cinch up the saddle? Alot of my friends have horses that are cinchy and sensitive to tightening the girth. With my horse he doesn't like it so I do it very gradually and even then once in a while he over reacts and pulls back. I am not sure why he does this and I am not sure how to correct it. Thanks in advance for your comments,
