Its no longer a jeep if you parted it out with Chevy parts... Why not a Dodge 360 or 380 motor from the factory is balanced these chevy crate motors just wont last as long... have to look up Andrew when I get settled in. Yup another Jeep guy headed to Nashville... Still sporting the Alaskan plates... Sucks in Alaska you would get a hefty fine for no mud flaps, off road its fine.
Sweet Jeep. Love them CJ7's I have owned mine for a few weeks short of 10 years. My wife made the down payment and week picked it up on my birthday 10 years ago this coming November. Thanks for sharing.
It would have been cool to know the wheel base, the wms, up travel numbers, and belly height. Im guessing he’s running a fuel cell in cab? More technical coverage would be cool in the future.
Beautifully built functional jeep. Man do I wish I had the money to build a rig like this. I’m hoping one day to get a TJ and just take 10 years to build it right!
It's a lot easier than you think. We typically start with a rig with the right parts right around the 20k mark and add the other parts that we want. If you built a turnkey rig through a shop like Jimmy's these days it would be 125k but finding one a few years old that needs some love can save you a boatload of cash. If you paid someone to do just the small things I did to the Jeep you would be up there as well. It's been a slow work in progress that's taken me almost 2 years to get there and here are a few things left to do but it's coming along as money allows. It's always cheaper to buy something like this as a base as long as the work is good.
@@TheAndrewBailey Appreciate you taking the time to respond bro. send me your email or another way to contact when you have time. Would like to get some advice on build for my LJ. Maybe even purchase parts from you. Later 🤙🏽
Marvin's correct. My favorite park in the country just happens to be a couple of hours from my house Windrock Park. I do like AOP, Wheelin in the Country, Golden Mountain, Harlan, Hawk Pride, Tackett Creek and many others. We are poised in one of the best areas for offroading in the country.
You should be banned from owning a jeep lol ,, wtf would you put a tj front end on a cj? CJ'S are amc and we're real jeeps.. Chrysler bought the name jeep but we all know that they are nothing more than a tribute to the real ones.. Kind of like the band lynyrd skynyrd, sure there is a band that has the rights to call themselves lynyrd skynyrd but with only 1 original member left you could hardly say they are anything other than a tribute! 😉
Ehh it's unique and makes Andrew happy. That's Literally the only thing that matters!! What makes me happy is having the last Jeep model and only Wrangler designed and sold by AMC the YJ. Of course the only thing Jeep at this point is the Tub but that's what makes Jeeps so great. So many things you can do to them!!
@@TyphoidSnaily ohh for sure man! I was just giving yall a hard time lol,, I know how much time and money goes into building thos machines, and I respect the creativity! 😉

Man that is one beautiful Jeep. I would like to change my YJ to a more serious off road machine but I still like the road worthiness. Still looking for a in between. Any suggestions
Yeah get out of the jeep game because you'll go from one build to something completely different within a year. Im broke as shit because of those 7 slots lol.
@@franky6181 I've got 4 Jeep's out of 13 I had 4 year's ago 2 restored and going back under the plasma cutter and 2 YJ's that are mild and streetable off road Jeep's. I'm waiting for my next Jeep to put down a few paycheck's and have fun with. That's the Jeep way
@@franky6181 I heard that. YJ's seem to be a rarity but I always see them on the streets and the owners are happy with them and don't want to part ways with them. The last of the leaf spring Jeep. On RUclips I see YJ's with coil overs and radical suspension what I'm going to do to my next YJ.
Ya know what If it makes you happy and it gets you on the trail who cares. After some reflection i realized i sounded like an asshole harley guy making fun of a honda shadow. Sorry for bashing it man good for you on making your vision come to life. Cheers
That's just wrong, putting a TJ grill on a CJ. CJ grills are so iconic
Nice rig A.B Hope to see you on the trails.. The tubing work looks awesome. Your rocking the new hair do..
Thanks Darrin! Looking forward to seeing you out there. We've been having a blast that's for sure!

The Chevy swap platform is just cheaper in the long run. That's the only reason. I am a big Mopar fan

Cool Jeep
Man I hate big cities..... they make my skin crawl. BUT.... I got say it made a nice change from the normal OHV Park parking lot. Sweet Jeep that!
The contrast makes the video!
It was fun to film this one with my beautiful hometown as a backdrop.

He bought it used for well under 20K and did the rebuild himself. It's not as expensive as you might think!

This build is 🔥 anyone know the paint color? 🤙🏽
Ask him on Instagram @TheAndrewBailey
Telesto grigio its the earlier more expensive cousin to Nardo. It has a ton of emerald pearl in the color you can only see in direct sunlight

Nice jeep man! 🔥 Do you ride at AOP, or which is your fav trail around the middle TN area?
Yeah we ride AOP quite often but I think Andrews favorite park is Windrock!
