Great to see the Lithgow factory still going strong. Excellent people there making some world class products! Looking forward to seeing more civilian products in the future.
On my list of tourist attractions to visit. Just took delivery of one of their rifles though yet to shoot it. I can't believe how much hands on the manufacturing is. If only they made the 105 in a lefty it'd be in my Cart. Thanks for sharing the tour of the factory.
Thanks for the tour & your reviews Ozzie, keep supporting those Aussie jobs. Met Richard at your Ipswich meet, quality bloke. just traded in my Tikka T3x for a Sako hunter, but there is no way I will be trading in my LA101 in 22, with the Steiner scope, just a quality product that works a treat.
I’m pretty amazed how much of the process is still old tech, obviously they have some very skilled craftsman. Good to see they are getting new equipment to keep up with the times while still keeping their attention to detail.
That Lady can shoot! Again, another wonderful Lithgow rifle. I will be buying a LA-101 later this year,....and it's all your 'fault' Ozzie. Thanks for the interesting factory tour, and the range tests too, must have been an interesting time for you as well!
That too is a real consideration for a country's government acting so strictly with 'gun laws.' Lithgow's quality is apparently, very high, and tis makes 'Made in Australia' some to look for when we're buying these rifles.
It’s a very interesting place to visit, anyone into shooting would enjoy a visit to the Lithgow arms factory, a lot of history. I grew up in Bathurst, eventually leaving that freezing cold weather for QLD, very cool ! 👍🇦🇺
Good to see lithgow arms going from strength to strength. Great to see the factory tour, alot of history there for sure. Tell them to bring out a long range magnum for deer hunting next will you? I would pre order :-)
Here in the US the lithgows are comparative rarity and they are also rather costly. In fact I have only seen a couple at a Cabela's store in Ft. Worth in the used rack. I think they were demos from the NRA convention. They are also highly priced for example a Lithgow .243 hunter model is priced at about $1100, a comparable Begara is about $800 and a comparable Tikka T3X is less than $ 700. I foresee tough sledding ahead for Lithgow in this market. Best regards to you and your lovely wife.
Jack Lucas yeah it’s funny cos over here with the current weak Australian dollar we are paying a lot for American firearms so the Lithgow is quite attractive in that sense...
always like ur channel ozzie. but the problems ive had with my 22wsm from lithgow was crap. the rifle sprayed everywere sent it bak after the seller shot it and they agreed there was definatly something wrong, they apariantly replaced the barrell and sent through there test shots.i put a camera down it before firing it again and the tool marks were insane. it shoots fine until around the 15 shot mark then starts spraying again. tryed diffrent ammo. i think ive got a dud. have spoken to people with the excact same rifle and they are sooper happy with theres. me personally not happy.
seen you've done a T3x Tac A1 review since this one. would you throw a hat over both of them for a similar outcome from reviews? or the Tac A1 just that next level in precision/quality & results?
Good work Oz, been waiting for this for a long time- you've nailed it, beautiful wife with beautiful rifle - Heaven Still want to see you and missus Oz in 100m shoot off one day Haha Cheers Rob
Bit of a dumb question but im just not sure.... Can a firearm be stored outside of a gunsafe aslong as its got a trigger lock? Is this legal or illegal? Cheers guys.
The defence force uses EF88 Austyres and the SR-98, both manufactured under licence by Thales Australia which owns Lithgow Arms. What more do you want?
Awesome that they are aussie made, ashame that they are not aussie owned, just like everything else that used to be aussie owned ,now owned by foreigners. That seems to be the way these days.

The factory tour was very interesting. I'd like to have a Lithgow gun in my safe someday.
Great video and great to see an Aussie company making products to equal the world

Reg Sparkes yes I have been there previously but it’s always a great feeling seeing 180 odd local jobs being created by the factory for locals...
That too is a real consideration for a country's government acting so strictly with 'gun laws.'
Lithgow's quality is apparently, very high, and tis makes 'Made in Australia' some to look for when we're buying these rifles.
The sound the wipers make over the ice gave me goosebumps
Awesome content Mr & Mrs Ozzie. Looking forward to the review.
What a fantastic video I have been dying to see something like this good on ya Ozzy

Every home in Australia needs a Lithgow (102 or 105)!
Great video Ozzie !

I vote for Mrs Ozzie to start doing a few reviews... Great to see the LA105 as it seems to be some what camera shy on the reviews all too brief

A great and rare tour of the Lithgow Factory! Can you take us into the Military section next time?? 😉
I am a little bit late to the "party" but what a great vid 👍👍👍

They're not cheap here either Jack, but I think they're worth the money
I'd like to try one as well(live in NY), but when a Tikka costs half as much it's a hard pill to swallow
Awesome video

Can you please tell be the type and model of the bipod used (Around 09:50 +) and what model was the Kahles scope?
I didn't recognise the bipod used on the demo rifle. Could you give me some details on it please?
Thanks mate.
seen you've done a T3x Tac A1 review since this one.
would you throw a hat over both of them for a similar outcome from reviews? or the Tac A1 just that next level in precision/quality & results?
If you want local rofle production, you need to buy local rifles. Great to see Lithgow still making great rifles that even patriotic civvies can own!
Great video! can't wait till they are available.
Any news of when the gun shops will have them for sale?
Lorenzo Louis the official release date to the market was today...
@4.50 is that a f88/f90 barrel and guide rail getting digitised?
Awesome...So when are they (LA 105) hitting the market !
Kamran Shakil today was the official release to market
Can you buy just the action or only with that stock
Nice review think I might need 1 Any chance of a release 300 win mag or 338 lap at any stage in the future
It looks great, it would be really nice if they offered the 105 in a Left hand bolt action, preferably in 308 win.
Hey ozzie great vid mate just wondering what your personal thought on 308 or 6.5cr in this rifle are as im looking to buy one soon cheers 👍
Yes yes but where can we get the KAHLES rifle scopes from ..?
Would have been great to have a crack with the F88 too
How does this compare to the Tikka T3X TAC A1?
do they have any plans for releasing a straight pull or better yet a pump version of their F90?
Firestorm they should id buy one
You'd need to knock appearance laws on the head before you could pull that trick.
Is it just me or can you actually SEE the bullet (air pressure wave) coming up from bottom right at the end shooting the yellow balloons?
OMG That thing looks amazing , I'm buying one
edit; I just saw the price fmd
Verygood มันเป็นโรงงานผลิต RIFLE

I was looking at buying the S20, but after your review I am reconsidering. I was going to put the Burris Eliminator III on it. What are your thoughts?
Awesome :-) keep up the good word Thales. Lithgow comes up with another winner.
I reckon i could out shoot them ;-)
Good work Oz, been waiting for this for a long time- you've nailed it, beautiful wife with beautiful rifle - Heaven
Still want to see you and missus Oz in 100m shoot off one day Haha

Bit of a dumb question but im just not sure....
Can a firearm be stored outside of a gunsafe aslong as its got a trigger lock? Is this legal or illegal? Cheers guys.
Samuel Fitzsimmons illegal it must be stored in a locked safe trigger locks don't count.
H.M MURDOCK cheers dude! I was 99% sure that was the case, thank you for clearing that up for me 😁
Great video. Are the muzzle breaks available for LA102’s?
plenty according to google
Firestorm from Lithgow I meant. I’m not interested in something made O/S
Do we know roughly what there going to retail for??
Anthony Hawes about $2995 I believe
ozziereviews awesome thanks mate
ozziereviews AUD or USD?
$2205 American dollars according to a .74 exchange rate.
Ozzie, no offence mate, but how did you pull a woman like that?! You must be packin heat! Lol, she’s beautiful.
the real question is how did she pull a stud like ozzie :P
probably his daughter^^ but do you care Down Under ;-)
The cargo pants pull the ladies mate.
Great!
Man camera Technology has come a long way, I was too busy watching the bullets displace the mirage.
what brand of ammo did you guys use?
kekeke4467 as shown in the review - Hornady
yeah i done goofed thanks mate
Were you the only outsider there, Ozzie or was it a general gunpress day?
Thanks for the review.
Richard Meyer there were only 3-4 of us selected media reps invited...
Thanks, Mate - just wanted to know. Seems to make you an elite. If that's true - good onyer. Otherwise, sorry ...
Why waste at 800m ? Why not go to a more realistic 300 or 400, where a little more consistent grouping may occur for long range hunting.
Australia make some of the best firearms but are army still hasn’t ask Lithgow to make them rifles
The defence force uses EF88 Austyres and the SR-98, both manufactured under licence by Thales Australia which owns Lithgow Arms. What more do you want?
It's a shame they backed out of manufacturing the F90 in the US. I think it would have been a successful product.
She is gorgeous....
What sort of cabbage are they talking for the 105 in 308?
$2800 I believe
Awesome that they are aussie made, ashame that they are not aussie owned, just like everything else that used to be aussie owned ,now owned by foreigners. That seems to be the way these days.
army should switch them for their L96's or what ever dumb designation. I know the L96's are in 7.62 so
Built by Australians for Australian conditions
Mate, can we have the blonde girl doing reviews for all future Ozzie videos? Lol
