I grew up with a blue TRB… we named him “Mob”. He was a good boy with a taste for cake. On his final day, he was 15, he walked around the house and put his head on the lap of all members of my household. Then at night, he sneaked away to our garden, dug a small hole in his favorite corner, and laid down in the hole to die, so we buried him there.
that shows how loveable and very intelligent they are i hope someday to have one myself not the blue one but the brown with the black mask or completely black one.
that's why i love the thai ridgeback, i love everything about the thai ridgeback and someday i will have one im almost 20 years single and alone life becones very lonely and i do have experience with dogs but the thai ridgeback is even new to me i will definitely give the dog a lot of attention and the dog will definitely give love back towards me and that's what i need. it's a shame that this breed is very expensive 5000 dollars or more so i hope to be very rich someday to maintain this beautiful breed.
I was absolutely lucky to get my sweet girl. She was a rescue puppy and was in a litter of 5. She was the only redish fawn with the black features. Had no idea at the time what the breed was. I have had her for 3 years and last year went through a divorce of 12 years. When she saw my x and kids leave in the uhaul she basically cried for days and would not for any reason let me leave her at the house for anything. She has been the one reason for not letting heartache and depression to drag me down. We helped each other through grieving. She is one of the most affectionate and loyal dogs I have ever seen. I just realized her breed and it explains everything perfectly. Such an amazing companion. We take 3 walks in the woods every day and she has to be next to me at night. Such a beautiful breed.

MY TRD WENT AFTER THE PIT BULL AND GRABBED HIM BUY THE FACE AND SWUNG HIM AROUND LETTING GO.THE DOG RAN OFF. THE GERMAN SHEPHERD, ROTTWEILER DOG DECIDED TO HANG AROUND AND WHAT A MISTAKE HE MADE. MY DOG DID SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER SEEN. HE GRABBED THE DOG BY THE THROAT AND GOT HIM UPSIDE DOWN AND WAS TRYING TO RIP IT'S THROAT OUT, STANDING ON TOP OF HIM. MY WIFE AND I TRIED TO GET THE DOGS APART AND WE WERE ABLE TOO. WE WENT BACK HOME AND HE GOT A FEW CUTS ON HIM , BUT THE SHEPHERD, ROTTWEILER MIX MADE IT TO HIS HOUSE AND COLLAPSED IN THE FRONT YARD. HE LAID THERE FOR 2 DAYS. MY METH -HEAD NEIGHBORS TRIED TO SUE ME. MY OTHER NEIGHBOR SAW THE WHOLE THING. DIDN'T HAPPEN, MY DOG WAS ON A LEAD. ANYWAY TRD. ARE READY TO DEFEND YOUR LIFE AT ANY COST. THESE DOGS ARE ONE OF THE BEST GUARD DOGS EVER.!!!!
It's funny that Thai dogs have cat's character and Thai cats (Siamese) have dog's character. Lol By the way, Thailand has 2 local breeds, not just one. Another is BangKaew, it's one of the Spitz types. And it descends from ancient wolf.
